First Battle to be Played in Soulkeep

I've played Splinterlands before and I know it's a very fun game, but when I tried Soulkeep, I felt it was something completely different. The main difference is that you don't directly confront other players, but rather are in a defensive position against Fiend attacks. This makes strategy and planning much more important than just random attacks as they come in waves.

As soon as I started I entered my first battle and from the first moment I understood that the main challenge in this game is protecting the Soul Gate from the waves of Fiends attacking you. It was very exciting, because you not only fight, but you also have to build your defenses intelligently to repel the attacks before they reach the gate. The game quickly immerses you in the game, and you feel like you're in a fateful battle from which you must emerge victorious.

Towers are your primary weapon here as they perform the main defensive function against the Fiends. The first tower that they give and unlocked was the Gloom Owl and it played a good role in helping me repel the initial attacks. These towers aren't just offensive tools as they have different strategys and each tower has its own properties that you can exploit depending on the type of attack you face. Over time I learned that choosing the right tower in the right place determines your success or failure in any battle and to protect your gate.

The game is very enjoyable and its style is exciting, as it's not just a defense game it also requires constant focus and planning. Each new battle is more difficult than the one before it which keeps the challenge ongoing and never gets boring. I'm honestly really enjoying the experience and I'm excited to see how far I can go with my defensive strategies.
