DIY: Simple steps to follow to sew and cut car seat perfectly.

Greetings everyone and happy weekend. How are you all doing today, i hope you all are doing pretty good. I am happy to see today with good health and also be able to share a post with you guys today which is all about the upholstery of a Camry back seat with some simple steps follow. I hope you will find this post useful.

Upholstery work is what i am doing for a living all though it was not my dream. Due to lack of work after school i choose to give it a try and is really helpful and it will be nice too if you develop interest in learning too.
In today post i will write steps by steps on how i sew a car seat from the beginning to the end. For easy understanding i will use image to illustrate my steps for more understanding.

Looking at the finished work we. Have someone difference from the original design which is just the black leather combined. And the combination look so beautiful and cool.

Material used

• new leather
• sewing machine
• pliar
• sewing roof
• set of spanners
• chalk etc.

To begin I first lose the seat out of the car to my shop, get a new leather that match with the interior.
I then use a measuring tape to measure the vertical and horizontal length of each pattern and then right it on it position.

I then transfer the distance to a new leather and then mark the point and join it using long ruler and chalk.

I then use scissors to cut out the new leather following the line i draw.

Here is the cut material.

I the trace out the pattern and place it on a roof material to make it smooth and strong.

I then use gum to hold it together.

I the cut them out carefully.

With my sewing machine, i sew the center design has seen below.

I then join the other pattern of the seat together by sewing them with the help of sewing, after sewing it completely i come up with a new seat cover.

I then clip the new seat cover to the seat form carefully with the help of pliar and clips.

After clipping the seat, my seat os new ready.

This look really beautiful. I really love this combination.
Important thing to know about this my work is, sewing, how to cut and measure leather and how to clip the seat and all this are very simple.
But before doing it u have to contact upholstery to get more idea or if you are sharp from my explanation you can make it simple.
