A Little About the Frontier Format and My Favorite Foundation Card

Today I'm going to talk about one of my favorite cards in Splinterlands for the Frontier format. Join me on this brief journey of knowledge.
Recently, the Frontier format has been my main focus in the game because it reminds me of the old Splinterlands, where you could receive tradable cards as rewards.
Currently, it's also possible to receive cards in other formats by opening Loot Chests, but they are Soulbounds, and you need to spend DEC to turn them into tradable cards.

In the Frontier format, I'm still in the Bronze league, but soon I'll be investing more in buying Foundation cards to increase my performance in this format and receive better rewards.

As I write this post, I claimed my first reward of the day and received the Spinetail Fiend card.
If you're curious about how the Frontier format works in Splinterlands, then I invite you to read my post: Explaining How the Frontier Format Works in Splinterlands, in which I explain how this format works and also how to get started without spending anything.
I also invite you to check out Arcade Colony. There you'll find Splinterlands and three other games: Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
For more information about Arcade Colony and how to create an account on this platform, read my post: Discover the Arcade Colony Platform.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I'm going to talk about one of my favorite cards for the Frontier format in Splinterlands, and that card is Dread Tafarian.

Dread Tafarian is a common card from the Earth deck, which means you can only use it if you choose a summoner that allows you to use the Earth deck.
Dread Tafarian is a melee card that costs 9 mana to use in battles and only has the Heal ability.
The reason I like Dread Tafarian is because of its Heal ability. It's one of my favorite abilities in Splinterlands, and in the Frontier format, it will be a great ally in your battles.

The Heal ability heals the monster for 1/3 of its maximum health once per round.
To better explain how the Heal ability works on Dread Tafarian, I'll use its maximum health as an example.
Dread Tafarian has 5 levels, and its minimum base health is 6 and its maximum base health is 8. This means that considering only Dread Tafarian's base health, it will heal 2 health per round.
The minimum amount of health a monster can recover with the Heal ability is 2.
If Dread Tafarian increases its health to 9, it will heal 3 health per round.
Don't underestimate the Heal ability in the Frontier format because it will be one of the most powerful abilities in this format.

Currently, Dread Tafarian's price on the Splinterlands market is $0.014, and that's music to my ears because it means I can level it up to max level for little money.
My current goal is to have Dread Tafarian at least at level 4 because at this level it has 2 melee attacks and becomes even more powerful in battles, but I intend to level it up to max level.
For now, I'm only receiving rewards from the Frontier format using the cards I received in Campaign mode. The cards I receive in the Frontier format are being used to build my Foundations card collection, so I'm just keeping them in my accounts and trying to level them up when I receive duplicate cards.
This month I'll try to upgrade all my Foundations cards to Silver League level and hope to get cards in the WEEKLY FRONTIER DRAW.
