RE: The Richest Guy On The Planet

I have made a lot of money in my life and managed to squander most of it. Rest assured if I could get off of the hamster wheel and spend more time with my lovely bride and kids I would jump at the chance. All of those days are behind me, but gone.

Funny thing. I have spent a lot of time pondering these things in the last few years, but done nothing. One of the things that stuck out to me most when pondering was that i realized the best time of my life was 3 months that I had no job and made no money. It was the scariest three months of my life, but hands down the best since my childhood. My wife agrees.

This year is different though. I feel the sands of time slipping and have become determined to do something about it. Enjoy your job and the time it affords you with your loved ones!

I grew up poor, and all of a sudden I was making like 250k a year with my online businesses. So instead of being smart, I began to drink $1000 bucks worth of champagne every weekend.

Once PayPal shut me down, I was back to being poor LOL

Lesson learned, it's not always guaranteed...So spend the time rather than the money on what matters

It is amazing to think back to my childhood. Times were simple and no one had money. We had very few "things". We never ate "out". Life was grand! 😀
