Star trek: Discovery (Season 1, Episode 15) – Review
How are you all? I hope you are all well. Today I am going to share my feelings about the last episode of the first season of Star Trek: Discovery with you. I have been watching the season slowly for a few days. So after reaching the last episode, naturally I was a little more interested. Because so much has happened throughout the season that I was quite curious about how it would end.

I have been feeling a suppressed tension since the beginning of Episode 15. It seemed like something big could happen at any moment. Especially the situation of the Klingon war had gone so far that it did not seem like there was an easy solution.
I found Michael Burnham to be the most mature in this episode. There is a big difference between the man I saw at the beginning of the season and the Burnham at the end. There were many difficult decisions to make to end the war, but I liked the way he saw things. Rather than destroying everything and winning, he wanted to find another way.

Mirror Georgiou still gives me a strange feeling when I see her. The character is scary and funny at the same time. You never know what she'll do. Her presence was also very strong in this episode. In a few scenes, I really wondered where the situation would go.

Saru was as calm as ever. Sometimes people underestimate such characters, but to me, she's one of the most important members of Discovery. When everyone is busy making decisions with emotions, Saru tries to think logically.
I still find Ash Tyler's story a bit sad. The impact of the struggle she has had with her identity throughout the season was clear in this episode as well. Some of her scenes made me think a lot.
I still like watching Tilly. There are some characters in the series whose presence lightens the atmosphere a little. Tilly is just that for me. Even though she doesn't have much time, it's nice to see her on screen.

Another thing I want to say separately is that I really liked the atmosphere of Qo'noS. The place wasn't tried to look nice, but rather shown as dark, chaotic, and dangerous. That seemed more realistic to me.
But not everything was perfect. Personally, I felt like the final resolution came a little too quickly. After showing such a big conflict throughout the season, it would have been more impactful if the ending had taken a little longer.
Overall, this episode did not disappoint me as the end of the first season. In fact, it made me want to start the second season immediately after it ended. To me, that is the biggest achievement of a successful finale.
If I were to rate it, I would personally give it an 8.5/10.
