🌧️🌅 Un atardecer extraño después de la tormenta 🌅🌧️ (Esp/Eng)
Hoy fue uno de esos días que no se ven seguido en Santiago de Chile. Llovió fuerte, muy fuerte. No la típica llovizna suave que a veces aparece en invierno, sino una lluvia intensa, con truenos y relámpagos constantes, de esas que uno suele asociar más a otras regiones del país, pero no tanto a la capital.
Después de un día largo y pesado, cuando por fin comenzó a despejar, el cielo regaló un atardecer hermoso. De esos que aparecen justo cuando ya no los esperas. El contraste entre las nubes oscuras y los tonos anaranjados y rosados era demasiado bonito como para no grabarlo, así que saqué el celular y decidí hacerlo en hiperlapso, para que se viera el movimiento rápido de las nubes y la luz cambiando.
La idea era capturar algo relajante, casi mágico. Y en vivo se veía precioso.
El problema vino después.
Cuando revisé el video, noté que el modo hiperlapso bajó muchísimo la calidad de la cámara. Todo se ve más oscuro, más borroso y rápido. Pero entre ese movimiento, aparece algo que me llamó la atención: una especie de luz o figura que cruza el cielo muy rápido, como si fuera un avión pasando a toda velocidad.
Al principio pensé exactamente eso: “ah, debe ser un avión”. Pero cuando mostré el video, varias personas me dijeron que con ese tipo de condiciones climáticas no suelen pasar aviones, sobre todo con lluvia tan fuerte, relámpagos y nubosidad tan baja.
Y ahí fue cuando empecé a dudar.
No se ve casi nada, lo sé. El video no es nítido y el hiperlapso lo hace aún más confuso, pero aun así… algo pasa por el cielo. Muy rápido. Demasiado rápido. Y no deja la típica estela clara que uno suele ver cuando es un avión.
Tal vez sea solo un efecto del modo de grabación.
Tal vez una luz reflejada.
Tal vez una simple coincidencia.
O tal vez no.
No quiero decir que sea nada extraño, porque probablemente tenga una explicación lógica. Pero después de un día con tormenta tan poco común para Santiago, ver ese detalle me dejó pensando.
Les dejo el video igual, aunque sé que no se aprecia demasiado. Aun así, me dio curiosidad saber qué opinan ustedes.

Today was one of those days that you don't see often in Santiago, Chile. It rained hard, very hard. Not the typical light drizzle that sometimes appears in winter, but intense rain, with constant thunder and lightning, the kind you usually associate more with other regions of the country, but not so much with the capital.
After a long and heavy day, when it finally began to clear up, the sky gave us a beautiful sunset. One of those that appear just when you least expect them. The contrast between the dark clouds and the orange and pink tones was too beautiful not to record, so I took out my cell phone and decided to do it in hyperlapse, so that you could see the rapid movement of the clouds and the changing light.
The idea was to capture something relaxing, almost magical. And it looked beautiful live.
The problem came later.
When I reviewed the video, I noticed that the hyperlapse mode greatly reduced the quality of the camera. Everything looks darker, blurrier, and faster. But amid that movement, something caught my attention: a kind of light or figure crossing the sky very quickly, as if it were an airplane passing at full speed.
At first, I thought exactly that: “Oh, it must be an airplane.” But when I showed the video, several people told me that planes don't usually fly in those kinds of weather conditions, especially with such heavy rain, lightning, and low clouds.
And that's when I started to have doubts.
You can hardly see anything, I know. The video isn't clear and the hyperlapse makes it even more confusing, but even so... something is moving across the sky. Very fast. Too fast. And it doesn't leave the typical clear trail that you usually see when it's an airplane.
Maybe it's just an effect of the recording mode.
Maybe it's a reflected light.
Maybe it's just a coincidence.
Or maybe not.
I don't mean to say it's anything strange, because there's probably a logical explanation. But after such an unusual stormy day in Santiago, seeing that detail got me thinking.
I'll leave the video here anyway, even though I know you can't see it very well. Still, I'm curious to know what you think.
