My Native Rice with Veggies served with Etere Leaves
Warm Greetings to this wounderful family!!!I welcome you all to my Blog this morning.Hope you guys are doing well.
Today my pregnant friend came around my estate and came to my house very Hungry and tired ,I asked her what she would like to eat and she told me she is being craving for a native rice cooked with Palm oil and veggies and I decided to make one for her very snappy and use it to make a post.
INGREDIENTS USED
Three cups of rice
Half littre of Red oil
One tablespoon of salt
One tablespoon of curry spice
One pieces of Cucumber
Few pieces of scent leaves
One sachet of Sonia tomatoe paste
One bulb of onions
Seven pieces of fresh pepper
Water for cooking
PROCEDURE
Firstly I prepared all my ingredients and set aside.
I washed my ingredients both scent leaves,onions and cucumber,then slice my cucumber,pound my fresh pepper,press out my tomatoe paste and set aside.
Then I washed my rice,seive it and put in the pot and starts boiling it,after boiling for a while,my rice was well parboiled and I seived it out again and slice my onions and set aside.
then I slice my scent leaves,set my pot on fire and allow it to dry and then pour my red oil,then add my onions.
Then I added my Sonia tomatoes paste,add my salt and my curry spice and then added my fresh pepper,and stired then I added my scent leaves and stired again and then add my water and cover my pot for some seconds to boil and then added my per boiled rice and cover my pot to drain water.
Within some minutes of heating very well, my rice was ready
Finally my Native rice with veggies served with Etere leaves was ready to serve for my pregnant friend craving for it and she was very happy 😆 and she enjoyed it very hot.
