Surveillance Tech & Bioweapons Research: The Dark Side of Scientific Leaps

Personally, I believe the introduction to science has been our most powerful force for progress and evolution. So many new and creative things has emerge due to science invention and researches especially when it comes to human safety, Artificial intelligence, diseases research, planet exploration, internet world and several other development, but the truth is not advancement or innovations shines with hope some are being weaponized in biological or technological way for a more unsettling reality simmers beneath the surface.

Presently, science development really scares me because I have seen some extraordinary capabilities in it that are an essential and ethical risk, although science has really helped in growth and development, but there is still more to be attained, like the complete cure of several diseases and several other biotechnological advancements.

Surveillance tech is technology used to watch threats and also monitor and detect the environment. Surveillance tech can be in the form of a drone or CCTV, which is normally used around. Personally, I will say this is a very good innovation in science and research, it helps us to view the world around us, either for safe viewing, videoing or monitoring, and this has helped maintain biosecurity by making it more transparent in surveillance. Most countries use this, even news uses this also, for example, the present war going on in Israel and Iran, we get to see how the war is going through this surveillance technology by gaining clear insight into everything going on within.

Bioweapons, disease experiments and research are used for a more devastating reason. I am yet to ascertain my research on bioweapons to be true, but I know most illnesses released without a cure are mainly to reduce the world population. The truth is, I know this might not be intentional, but due to research for the advancement of knowledge and innovative development. I believe science is not a villain but in pursuit of advancement, which is unintentionally leading to dystopian outcomes.

Watching how countries war against each other by sending missiles at buildings and people's homes that took years to build is very disheartening, and seeing how bioweapons and Technological weapons flying around is alarming. I keep on asking myself why weapons like this were created and what purpose they serve. Was it created so that we should destroy each other? These are all part of science creation, which is why we need to anchor our ethics with science

Personally, I believe surveillance tech and bioweapons should be mainly used for defense against any negative outcomes or security reasons and not for selfish desires. I have watched some movies on how bio labs are destroyed during research, and I know this can be deeply true in research because there is nothing science can't research, even the most dangerous of all, they will want to research it.

In conclusion, Science has developed surveillance tech and bioweapons, but most countries use this against each other in terms of war or selfish reasons. We need to be vigilant of science ethics before it is too late or used against us.
