BANNED FOR LIFE: Would Students Focus More Without Social Media?

In a generation dominated by scrolling through screens and watching short, distracting videos, it's no wonder that people are drawn to content that is brief and random. Social media has greatly helped many businesses and companies grow and develop through effective marketing and the creation of short content, as everyone, including businesses, is on social media. In this generation, people easily get connected to each other because social media makes this easier for people to participate and engage with each other, but so far, people have not really started taking advantage of this medium and engaging in bad content.

I remember watching a video of a father and a mother deciding their 6-year-old boy's gender and celebrating it with everyone. Would you believe this video got 400,000 likes and millions of views? A few comments antagonised this experience, while others supported it. I was not wondering what others will also think of this because why will a parent choose to decide gender for their kid, this should be a personal decision for the child when they get of age. Social media of these days really aim at encouraging and corrupting our ignorant young ones to do bad things, such as sex or other negative experiences. I know so many people learn this bad act from social media, this is why I said it should be banned or limited to so many potential.

Social media should be banned and limited because there are a lot of things that people watch and learn from it. We have a certain type of people who easily get influenced by social media, this is why I always pity the younger ones a lot because they have a high chance of being influenced by the negative acts on social media.

Personally, I believe social media should be banned for peace to reign, and if it is not banned, then we need it, because then people will start to focus on their work and also be more productive. Students will also learn to focus more without social media. Social media is one of the biggest distractions in this country and needs to be adjusted with due effect. Imagine a school where no one is glued to their phone and everyone is just living peacefully, then we can achieve a lot more than we can ever imagine. This is why China is always ahead because they set aside all their distractions and focus on being more productive in life.

Life can be easier and more productive when social media is banned or limited to so many things because I believe banning social media can bring about more change than we can ever imagine in our generation. The world needs a digital detox to boost memory retention and also help to gain focus and reduce anxiety. I believe a world where social media is banned can help improve the concentration of students and boost learning focus and creativity.
