My neighbor is a docent at our local historical society. She guides groups of people, including school groups, through the Victorian mansion that is maintained by the society.
When she is guiding tours she dresses in period costumes that usually include hoop skirts, but this time of year she wears a costume that seems a bit spooky. Just right for the Halloween season!
These photos were taken as she walked through my yard and woods along the river. She graciously posed for some photos. Hope they helped you get in a Halloween mood!

Halloween is such a fun holiday. I love seeing all the kids dressed in costumes and going door to door getting treats!

We don't celebrate holloween here and the knowledge what I have comes from movies only.
I may have to change pants if sumthing in that costume jumps up from bushes.
