And that's where an app is of no use at all. When you look at the app, the price is usually already out of date, not real live data, even though it should be. How often has it happened to me that I arrived at the gas station three minutes later and the price was already different, but not yet in the app? Even after filling up and driving home, it was still the old price.

There are even cases where the price rises for just a few minutes, really less than five minutes, and then goes back to the previous price. That's really annoying when you're filling up your tank because you don't expect to have to wait just one or two minutes for the price to go down again.

It's much better in other countries, where it's partly regulated by the government or gas stations are only allowed to adjust their prices once a week. It works wonderfully.

I don't even want to write about how people are now being ripped off with increased prices.

Das Sieht ja aus wie an der Börse, tatsächlich gibt es Tankstellen, die fast schon im Minutentakt ihre Preise ändern, klein wenig übertrieben ausgedrückt, aber auch nur ein wenig. Ich will hier gar nicht nachzählen, wie oft die Tankstelle ihre Preise an einem Tag geändert hat.

Und da bringt einem eine App auch mal gar nichts. Wenn man in die App reinguckt, dann ist der Preis meist schon veraltet, keine echten Livedaten, obwohl es sein sollte. Wie oft ist es mir passiert, das ich 3 min. später bei der Tanke ankam und der Preis bereits ein anderer war, in der App aber noch nicht, selbst nach dem Tanken und der Heimfahrt, war es noch der alte.

Gibt sogar fälle, da steigt der Preis für nur wenige Minuten, also wirklich unter 5 min. und ist dann wieder auf dem vorherigen. Das ist doch wirklich verarsche, wenn man ausgerechnet dann gerade tankt, weil man ja nicht mit rechnet, das man nur eben 1-2 Minuten warten müsste, damit es wieder runtergeht.

Da ist es in anderen Ländern deutlich besser, teils vom Staat vorgegeben oder die Tankstellen dürfen nur einmal die Woche ihre Preise anpassen. Funktioniert auch wunder bar.

Das jetzt auch direkt abgezockt wird, mit erhöhten Preisen, darüber will ich gar nicht erst schreiben.
