260 Days Since My Dark Days: My First HPUD in 2025 and a New Chapter with SplinterlandsPh

Almost a year has passed since I last engaged with the Hive blockchain, but now I return with renewed determination to rebuild and contribute once again. In real life, I’ve always valued the strength and support of community-knowing there are people who have your back, especially during tough times. I never expected to find that same sense of belonging and camaraderie within a blockchain, but TeamPh has shown me that it’s possible (Many thanks to @leveluplifeph for welcoming me into the TeamPH community and introducing me to a vibrant group of passionate individuals). Joining TeamPH has given me the opportunity to connect with fellow Filipinos who share the same enthusiasm for @splinterlands and Hive blockchain projects. I truly appreciate being brought into the fold and look forward to growing and contributing alongside the team.

Splinterlands Praetoria

Nearly a year ago, I faced a difficult period when I encountered a group of individuals who saw themselves as the self-appointed guardians of the blockchain. They labeled me a spammer and consistently targeted my posts with downvotes, making it hard to stay motivated and feel welcome. I made the decision to start powering down my HP, converting it back into liquid HIVE so I could invest in building up my presence in Praetoria. This transition allowed me to reallocate my resources and pursue new opportunities within the Hive ecosystem. I’m especially grateful to @thejedo for the invaluable assistance and support with resources when I was just getting started. Your help made a real difference in my journey.

Dark Days Done!

Despite these setbacks, I’ve come to realize that the true spirit of community on Hive goes beyond a few negative voices. There are many supportive members who value genuine engagement and encourage growth. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to @damour, @mangomayhem, and @azircon for standing up for me when I faced unfair treatment on the blockchain. Their actions not only defended me against negativity but also reinforced my belief in the value of a decentralized, community-driven platform like Hive, where every voice matters and collective support makes a real difference.

With this renewed perspective, I’m committed to building up again, contributing positively, and connecting with others who share the same vision of a thriving, inclusive community on the Hive blockchain.

My First HPUD in 2025

After going through some tough times, I’ve been working hard to rebuild. I’ve collected and staked over 30,000 SPS. I’ve also been upgrading my cards to improve my gameplay in #Splinterlands. Since I had sold most of my Hive Power before, I didn’t have enough for this Hive Power Up Day (HPUD). So, I swapped some SPS tokens for Hive to reach the minimum amount needed to power up. This way, I can stay active and regrow on Hive.
