Staking….Who’s With Me?
Staking LEO on Arbitrum is going to start soon, but the rewards won’t be paid until (around) September 26, or so…. I anticipate an abnormally high APR at first, but it’ll most likely level off, as more and more user stake.
My plan is to be early. It would be better for me if not many people stake, but I’d like to encourage as many people as possible to stake their Leo!
Specifically, I’d like to start out with 100k.
Let’s run some numbers…
@khaleelkazi estimates there will be about 15,000,000 staked LEO, when all is said and done.
If that turns out to be true, I’d have .67% of the total stake
Assuming LeoDex earns $10,000 per month in fees, I will be earning around $67 in USDC!
I think this is very conservative. I think it will take a very long time to reach 15 million staked. I believe that most people will leave their tokens on Hive-Engine, and continue to earn on InLeo, where it is familiar. I will do both!

I will be staking along with you. Haven't decided what proportion of my $LEO to stake, but it will probably be a significant amount due to the potential for gains to be higher than on InLEO.
That very thinking is why I think that staking on arbitrum will be more popular, but many will not find it easy to figure out and just stay on InLeo or be slow to move. Who knows?
If everyone moves to arbitrum then it may make sense to keep some on InLeo as then you would have a larger proportion of a smaller payout that could be greater than sLEO payout! I find this very unlikely though in the current conditions.
