Selling Land Production For Profit?

Over at ARTISAN QUARTER players can convert their production resources into items that can be sold on the open market. Today I want to look at current prices of these items and see if any of them can be profit in terms item sale price exceeding that of their production costs.

The items to focus on are Midnight Potion, Fortune Ticket, Auction Mark and Wagon Kit.

Start of with Midnight Potion it takes 40 Auras to convert. The cost to make each Aura depends on what type of workers I have left to use for production. If I went all in at 50k DEC staked it would only get me to about 27 Aura a hour.

It will 648 Aura a day but when taking tax into consideration I only pocket about 583 Aura. In addition I have to spend wood, stone and iron as expenses in order to harvest the Aura. All in all 583 x $0.013 at current price is $7.58 or 11,207 DEC. A great haul but it is taking away all my resources and needing a bit more DEC staked to accomplished. The ROI is not profitable since I simply taking away the resources that I could have used to swap into DEC.

In the game their are pools to swap production resources into DEC with a 2.5% tax rate. When I collect the resources I lose 10% so in total I have to pay 12.5% of fees in order to get DEC. Not ideal but works neither the less since my only fix costs would be the grain to be used during harvest. I exclude the staked DEC and production of workers since they are already in my setup. I am getting approximately 120 DEC a day by doing this. It is not much compare to selling Aura.

In terms of fortune tickets the price is much higher at 1151 DEC each. However it is taking into consideration of needing Vouchers in order to convert.

On one hand I could convert DEC to Vouchers to get enough for converting into fortune tickets but my goal is to get more DEC so it kinds of defeats the purpose of converting back and forth with fees. The cost of 200 Aura is a bit more than Midnight Potions but again value of the ticket is almost 10x.

The Auction Mark which is next item higher in conversion than tickets comes out to be 3084 DEC. The Marks are at five times the conversion cost of tickets. Yet the price difference between Marks and Tickets are only 3 to 1. Easily to state better to convert into Tickets than Marks based on current open market prices.

The last item to look at are Wagons. The cost for Wagons are all resources one can production in lands. Which would be better conversion than Marks and Tickets. However Wagons are price the highest in conversion costs. The Wood, Stone and Iron I found equated close to 4,400 DEC into to swap. Then the Aura which is the most costly standing at 2,500 units. If I assume just trying to earn that many Auras it would take close to five full days to earn for me at my peak use of assets. It still would take an additional 58 hrs, 26 hrs and 34 hrs to yield the respected wood, stone, and iron to get enough of those specific resources to convert for one wagon.

In very simple math terms by adding nearly five days to produce the Aura and at worse 56 hours for wood it comes out to over a week or nearly eight days to get one Wagon. Again this would all come down to staking an additional 50k DEC and utilizing my best workers remaining for the plot that is producing Aura. Comparing to open market the price of a Wagon is currently coming in at 7900 DEC.

It is obvious producing Wagons yield the most DEC in sales, but the amount of resources required to build up one Wagon is a big hurdle for me. Staking more DEC is a priority as it will allow me to produce more of each resource. Yet I do not have enough DEC staked to start building Wagons. Ideal plan is to stake enough DEC to produce sufficient resources so to in turn be able to stake resources and convert into Wagons for profits. I can imagine it being quite lucrative considering each wagon coming in at 7,000 DEC in sales it is equal to 1,000 DEC daily earning. I have not remember a day where I earn that amount in DEC daily in a very very long time.

It's interesting to see how much you can earn, but I think wagons will have prices change quite a bit. So I would make sure to double check prices every month or so to make sure that you are still earning enough.

The higher the price the more volatile. We can see it with the limited legacy cards the prices can change very quickly.
