On To League 2 - Soul Keep

I spent the last few days hours in league 1 round 4 only to be defeated in wave 5 or 6. The existing cards available even with 10 pack opens were insufficient for me to move ahead. With that I went on the open market to purchase a card that would hopefully help me successfully complete the round. Boy did it work!
I added a level 1 Quad Killer as I did some initial research hearing that this card is a great card to use in Soulkeep. Boy where those recommendations correct. Within an hour of play I not only completed round 4 but also 5 which lead me to complete the league.
Unfortunately I was not able to continue moving forward as I lack the required Fiends to move into league 2. The only option I had was to purchase boxes as the tournaments had been paused since last April. In terms of purchasing boxes it seemed like the game is a money hogging machine as it takes staked SPS and then now DEC/credits to purchase boxes to add in Fiends. Bottomline its not as fun as playing rank battles as the price of entry continues to go up as players level. I would have thought it worked the other way where it gets less in cost as players successful level up or complete tasks.
I lack liquidity to move ahead and will stay in league 1 until I have enough savings to purchase the Fiends. Meanwhile my last end of season yielded a decent amount of DEC.
My earned DEC from rentals went straight into Land and I continue to inch closer to max staked DEC required. On the other hand I have plenty of additional cards I could swap into my plots to produce more but have held off as my staked DEC is the limiting factor.
Looking ahead I hope to push further in staking enough DEC to maximize my land production. Meanwhile I also want to put more into Soulkeep if I can figure out how to continue progressing without having to over spend.
Until next time thanks for reading!!!

I have plenty of other cards for rent! Just go on peakmonsters and check out the market place and if you are curious what I offer here is a link:
If You have yet to take part in playing this great game called Splinterlands please click on my referral link. It is free but in order to earn real assets such as cards and token you would have to invest in a starter deck or purchase game cards. Join the discord to learn more. Good luck!

THANKS FOR READING! CONTINUE TO PLAY SPLINTERLANDS!

It's hard to balance between the games, but I hope that it works out for you there in Soulland. Do you like it more than Splinterlands?
Soulkeep is very different than Splinterlands so each have their own enjoyment. I learned currently players can't move up in Soulkeep due to rewards being disabled. Meanwhile I am saving up DEC for land and this has caused me to be absent from Splinterlands for at least two seasons now.
