Day of 2025-07-26

I got out for a morning jog under clear skies today, and the trails were in perfect shape—smooth, dry, and ideal for a steady pace. With no rain yesterday and light sunshine expected for the next few days, the footing was consistent and comfortable. It’s amazing how much better running feels when the conditions align—no slipping, no dodging puddles.

I executed a few light $HBD trades yesterday, staying active in the micro market swings while managing risk. As of now, Hive (HIVE) is slowly gaining ground—steady but unspectacular—which is a welcome pace after recent dips.

Later in the day, I made a stop for gardening supplies—finally getting the some soil amendments ready for upcoming sunday. With the weather stabilizing and the gardening season ramping up, now feels like the perfect time to prepare.

Have you heard the term "forever chemicals"? TBH, for me, it's for the first time. It has another name, PFAS! Looks like it is used in many everyday products, notably cleaning products, firefighting foam, food packaging, non-stick cookware, stain-resistant products, waterproof clothing, etc.

A new data analysis shows that this chemical could be a new causative factor for type 2 diabetes!!

Specifically, researchers found that every increase in PFAS exposure correlated with a 31% increase in type 2 diabetes risk.

More details here
