When I lose my mind :)
I am writing this post with gratitude @sunscape because she drew my attention on soil pH and nutrients.
To make matters worse for this gardener, I know of some more traditional ways to test soil pH and I armed myself with a faster soil pH tester.
As soon as it arrived, I tested it and also checked the garden itself, because I fertilized it.I did the testing itself a month ago.
The thing is that a few years ago I planted three chokeberry bushes.
One took root, it bloomed and bore fruit.
The other one immediately dried up.
And with them the matter was resolved.
But the third one, planted next to this chokeberry that bore fruit, suffered from yellowing leaves. Well, it started well but quickly turned yellow.
And I decided to transplant it from that place. And I did that, but unfortunately I didn't test the soil.
Probably because I tested, fertilized and got good pH and fertility in this entire part of my garden.Only that place where that chokeberry is is a meter from the garden.
And I forgot about it, it slipped my mind. I was fighting a battle with winter, frost and who knows what else.In the previous post where I took a picture of that chokeberry and expressed my concern about the leaves @sunscape it got my attention to check the soil acidity and nutrients .
And then the light came on.
Tested, confirmed.

I had to resort to some natural solution to fix it.
I took some wood ash and sprinkled it around the plant and immediately dug it in with a hoe.

I'm also collecting eggshells now, which I need to dry and grind.
I know it's not a quick fix and will take some time
Do you know of any other natural ways to fix soil pH?
Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.
