Desert island
This week's question. Well, that's a really tough question.
It's actually a tough choice, only three plants.
I even asked my wife what plants she would take to a desert island.
She's not sure either.
So let's start with the familiar.
We have fish, which I also prefer.
We have chickens, so we have eggs, although we would have to fence them in.
And we have cows, so there will be milk and we will make cheese.
With this, we already have a good basis for a good and healthy life.
Oh, and there are wild boars, so we should deal with them and they can serve as food for those who like a little ham and bacon.
And if not for food, we certainly have to take care of them because they can cause damage in our garden, and they can also be quite dangerous for people who are not careful and who have not had experience with them.
What three plants would you take to a deserted island
I chose the following:
Tomato
Many of us love tomatoes, many cook them, add them to salads, eat them like apples.
Tomatoes are consumed worldwide and are believed to have positive health effects, with a particularly positive effect on the heart muscle. Tomatoes contain lycopene, one of the most powerful natural antioxidants.
Corn
It is used for human and domestic animal nutrition
Corn grains are ground into flour. Corn flour is used to make bread, porridge, porridge, cakes and other baked goods for human consumption.
And chickens, cows and wild boars would certainly be happier if they had corn.
Corn is rich in fiber and antioxidants. It contains B-complex vitamins, especially thiamine and folic acid, as well as vitamins A, C and E, and minerals such as magnesium, potassium and phosphorus.
And I was most hesitant about the third plant.
The shortlist included potatoes and pumpkin.
Although I love potatoes, I decided on pumpkin.
Pumpkin
Pumpkin is an incredibly nutritious food. It is rich in numerous vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C, and group B vitamins - B1, B2, B3, B6, niacin and folate. Of the minerals, it contains the most potassium, phosphorus, calcium and iron. In addition, it contains pectins and cellulose, which makes it easy to cheat
minerals (potassium, phosphorus, iron), fiber and antioxidants such as beta-carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin.
Oh, I forgot we also have coconut, so with all of this I've listed, it would be a real feast.
I hope you like my choice, I'm waiting to see yours
Until next time
Be healthy
Sounds delicious. Corn is a great idea so you can make flatbread like tortilla! Coconut fish curry with corn flatbread. .. yum!

I like the idea, I love the tomato and corn, delicious and special to complement the food on that desert island. Greetings.
