Butterfly
What I have always known is that where there are butterflies, it is an indicator that nature is healthy. In fact, it is knowledge that our ancestors passed on to us.

Although I have researched it a little and it is a good indicator. That where there are butterflies, there is healthy and preserved nature and great biodiversity.
As a gardener, the presence of many butterflies in my garden is a sign that all is well with nature. Although adult butterflies are always welcome as pollinators, the problem for our gardeners is their larvae, which can be a real little pest.

They are sensitive to chemicals. Butterflies and their caterpillars are extremely sensitive to artificial fertilizers, herbicides and heavy pesticides. If you see them, it is direct evidence that the soil and plants in the area are not poisoned with strong poisons. They cannot tolerate a high level of air pollution, so they are almost absent in polluted industrial zones and next to major roads. They choose places where there is a variety of wild flowers and weeds (which serve as their food and home). Their presence means that there is a rich and preserved food chain around you.

Although there are a lot of them in the garden and yard, sometimes it is really difficult to take pictures of them. Only butterflies run away as soon as I get close to them to take a picture. Or something else disturbs them and makes them go away, a cat, chickens, other insects

But this little one stayed long enough for me to take a photo. I hope I will have more opportunities to photograph some more butterflies.

As for the type of butterfly it belongs to, I'll have to ask for your help. I don't have much knowledge about butterfly species. I only know that here in our area we call the white butterfly the cabbage butterfly.

Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.
