My Introduction to Hive - Mark Dean
Today, I'd like to introduce myself a little. My name is Mark Dean, I'm 31 years old, and I live in Valletta, Malta. My job as a data analyst for a small company in the south of the country takes up a large part of my day, but that doesn't mean my life is all about numbers and analysis. On the contrary, I have a great passion for my hobbies, which I always try to find time for amidst the busy schedule.
I really like swimming and football; any sport gets me moving and gives me renewed energy. However, I also have a completely different hobby: collecting stamps and antiques. I'm very drawn to things that have a history and are imprinted with time. I feel that each piece tells a different story, which is perhaps why I was drawn to the world of blockchain and NFTs.
My journey with crypto began about three years ago, when Bitcoin was the talk of the town, and I wanted to understand more about the technology that had the world talking about it. The more I read, the deeper I delved, until I began to explore the world of NFTs and saw their similarities to the vintage collectibles I love, except that they are digital and connected to blockchain technology.
Today, after years of research and learning, I want to begin my journey at Hive. I hope it will be fruitful and filled with useful experiences and information. I'm very excited to share with you everything new in the world of crypto, whether it's analysis, new projects, or even ideas about the future. This world is evolving rapidly, and having a community like Hive makes the experience even better because we learn from each other and share our vision for the future.
