Greetings, creative friends! I hope this new week is blessed for each of you. It is Sunday—Children's Day in Venezuela—and many families are gathering to spend time with their loved ones; meanwhile, I’m taking this opportunity to share a new pipe cleaner craft idea.

Estuve pensando en realizar figuras de animalitos ideales para colgar, así que les comparto la elaboración un llavero de limpiapipas inspirado en una gallina este llaverito es súper facil de realizar y queda muy tierno, además es cómodo de llevar ya que es pequeño.

I’ve been thinking about making little animal figures that are perfect for hanging, so I’m sharing how to make a pipe-cleaner keychain inspired by a hen. This little keychain is super easy to make and turns out really cute; plus, it’s convenient to carry around since it’s small.

Puedes personalizar de acuerdo el color que desees, en casa hay una de color marrón claro así que elegí este color jaja, a continuación les muestro los materiales y el paso a paso.

You can customize it with whatever color you like; we have a light brown one at home, so I chose that color—haha. Below, I’ll show you the materials and the step-by-step process.

Paso a paso / Step by step

El primer paso que vamos a realizar será tomar el algodón y cubrir con la cinta adhesiva, tomé solo un poco de algodón y lo vamos a moldear de acuerdo a la forma de la gallina, aunque no será exactamente igual ya le daremos la forma con el limpiapipas.

The first step is to take the cotton and cover it with adhesive tape; I’m using just a small amount of cotton and molding it to match the hen's shape—though it won't be exact, we’ll refine the form later using the pipe cleaner.

Es importante que quede abultada y no plana está figura, ahora vamos a cortar un poco en la parte superior la parte inferior debe quedar como un medio círcular. Ahora colocamos un limpiapipas marrón claro al rededor de la figura y tratamos de moldear con las manos.

It is important for this shape to be plump rather than flat; now, we will trim the top slightly, while the bottom should remain semicircular. Next, wrap a light brown pipe cleaner around the shape and try to mold it with your hands.

Ahora vamos a enrollar el limpiapipas de color marrón, y comenzamos a enrollar sobre la figura desde la parte superior hasta la parte inferior, con ayuda de los dedos moldemoa en la parte inferior para dar esa forma circular.

Now, we are going to coil the brown pipe cleaner, wrapping it around the figure from top to bottom; using our fingers, we shape the bottom section to create that circular form.

Ahora vamos a tomar el limpiapipas rojo y formaremos dos pequeños círculos y pegamos en la esquina superior, con el limpiapipas amarillo formaremos el pico y rebajamos la pelusa con el encendedor.

Now, take the red pipe cleaner, form two small circles, and glue them to the top corner; then, use the yellow pipe cleaner to form the beak and singe off the fuzz with a lighter.

Con limpiapipas negro formaremos el ojito, y quemamos con un encendedor, ahora realicé una flor de color blanca utilizando la técnica del lapicero, en el centro colocamos un círculo de color amarillo.

We will form the eye using a black pipe cleaner and singe the end with a lighter; next, I made a white flower using the pen technique and placed a yellow circle in the center.

Pegamos la flor en el centro de la gallina y listo, colocamos el aro para llavero, de esta forma terminé este llaverito que queda súper cuchi.
