Today I'm sharing a snake inspired by the Kra'ar Xoc card from the Splinterlands game. What caught my attention the most is that it represents a figure somewhere between a human and a snake, so I thought, "Could I recreate it using pipe cleaners?" And the answer is yes! Una vez que reuni todos los materiales asegurándome también de disponer de los colores que lleva la serpiente me puse manos a la obra, un reto más para mí ya que es la primera vez que me atrevo a realizar una serpiente, yo contenta con el resultado, esta idea puede que te sirva más adelante, así que q continuación les explico como la realicé.

Once I gathered all the materials, making sure I also had the colors the snake uses, I got to work. It was another challenge for me since it's the first time I've dared to make a snake. I'm happy with the result. This idea might be useful to you later, so I'll explain how I made it.

El primer paso que vamos a realizar será la base de esta serpiente, para esto utilicé papel aluminio es el material ideal para moldear la forma de la figura. La medida es de acuerdo a tu criterio, la mía será mediana.

The first step we'll take is to make the base of this snake. For this, I used aluminum foil, which is the ideal material for shaping the figure. The size is up to you; mine will be medium.

Luego te debes asegurar que la cabeza de la serpiente tenga más volumen que el cuerpo, terminé de rellenar con un poco de algodón y luego cubri con cinta transparente.

Next, you must ensure that the snake's head has more volume than the body. I finished filling it with some cotton and then covered it with transparent tape.

Ahora bien, vamos a seleccionar los limpiapipas de color amarillo, y vamos a comenzar a pegar sobre la cabeza hasta el cuello, luego en la parte inferior voy a cubrir con limpiapipas marrón claro, hasta el cuello.

Now at the top we are going to cover with brown pipe cleaners starting from the neck to the tail, with orange shadow we are going to start painting the head and body part, for the eyes I used orange pipe cleaners I am going to form a kind of relief where there should be two round spaces to place the eyes, I am going to extend the pipe cleaner in that same area to make an irregular shape.

De igual forma voy a realizar en el resto del cuerpo, puedes realizar circulos, formas irregulares, ahora con limpiapipas negro voy a cubrir esas formas que realicé, con limpiapipas color turquesa realicé dos círculos y colocamos en los ojos, con un alambre negro de limpiapipas coloqué una rayita sobre él.

Similarly, I will do the same for the rest of the body. You can make circles, irregular shapes. Now, with black pipe cleaners, I will cover those shapes I made. With turquoise pipe cleaners, I made two circles and placed them for the eyes. With a black pipe cleaner wire, I placed a small line on top of it.

Luego terminamos de cubrir la parte del ojo en color negro también, para la lengua utilicé un limpiapipas rojo, lo quemé con un encendedor para que quede delgado y pegamos con silicón, por último terminé de dar el retoque con la sombra naranja en algunas partes vacías.

Then we finished covering the eye area in black as well. For the tongue, I used a red pipe cleaner, which I burned with a lighter to make it thin and glued on with silicone. Finally, I finished adding touches with orange eyeshadow in some empty areas.
