Muy felíz jueves amigos de Hive Diy, sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post navideño, en esta oportunidad encantada de participar en la iniciativa Diademas de navidad, ésta semana me he sentido contenta realizando manualidades relacionadas al tema por lo que al leer sobre la iniciativa me quise animar a realizar una.

Very happy Thursday friends of Hive Diy, welcome to a new Christmas post, in this opportunity I am delighted to participate in the initiative Christmas headbands, this week I have felt happy making crafts related to the topic so when reading about the initiative I wanted to encourage myself to make one.

Elegí el tema de flor de nochebuena, esta flor muy característica para adornar en la navidad, la idea fue realizar una diadema con esta flor utilizando limpiapipas, por acá les dejo una idea en Pinterest nochebuena puedes realizarla del tamaño y con la cantidad de pétalos que más te guste, ya sea de seis o hasta diez, es sencilla de realizar me pareció lindo el resultado no muy sobrecargado. A continuación les muestro el paso a paso.

I chose the poinsettia flower theme, this very characteristic flower to decorate at Christmas, the idea was to make a headband with this flower using pipe cleaners, here I leave you an idea on Pinterest poinsettia you can make it in the size and with the number of petals that you like the most, whether six or up to ten, it is easy to make, I thought it was nice the result not very overloaded. Below I show you the step by step.

Paso a paso / Step by step

El primer paso se trata cortar nueve limpiapipas en la mitad, luego voy a tomar un limpiapipas completo y lo doblamos un poco a la mitad, tomaré tres trozos de los que cortamos anteriormente y los voy a colocar en el centro también doblando a la mitad.

The first step is to cut nine pipe cleaners in half, then I am going to take a complete pipe cleaner and fold it a little in half, I will take three pieces of the ones we cut previously and I am going to place them in the center also folding in half.

Ahora voy a girar dos veces el limpiapipas completo veremos cómo quedarán en medio, acomodamos que queden ordenados una al lado del otro y las dos puntas largas sobrantes las vamos a unir junto a estos luego giramos en la parte inferior y damos varias vueltas para que no se suelten, de esta forma estaríamos formando el primer pétalo, ahora con los dedos acomodamos bien y damos forma en la punta.

Now I'm going to turn the complete pipe cleaner twice, we'll see how they will look in the middle, we arrange that they are arranged side by side and we are going to join the two remaining long tips next to these, then we turn at the bottom and make several turns so that they don't loosen, in this way we would be forming the first petal, now with our fingers we arrange well and shape the tip.

Voy a realizar cinco pétalos más en la misma secuencia que les expliqué, luego unimos los pétalos con silicón, voy realizar unas pequeñas bolitas de color amarillo en foami moldeable y estás las vamos a ubicar en el centro de la flor las podemos pegar junto al alambre para que se vean sobresalientes o pegaditas a ella.

I am going to make five more petals in the same sequence that I explained to you, then we join the petals with silicone, I am going to make some small yellow balls in moldable foam and we are going to place them in the center of the flower, we can glue them next to the wire so that the protruding or attached ones can be seen.

Con dos limpiapipas verdes voy a doblar uno en la mitad, el otro lo cortamos en dos partes y vamos a unir como hicimos con la flor pero está vez se formará la hoja, haremos tres en total, las pegamos en la parte posterior.

With two green pipe cleaners I am going to fold one in half, we cut the other into two parts and we are going to join together as we did with the flower but this time the leaf will be formed, we will make three in total, we glue them on the back.

Ahora vamos a comenzar a forrar el cintillo con aproximadamente 4 limpiapipas de color blanco, pegamos la flor en un lateral, debe quedar hacia el frente, en este caso primero medi el cintillo para poder visualizar dónde quedaría mejor la flor, por parte es ideal pegarla con silicón caliente para mayor resistencia.

Now we are going to start lining the headband with approximately 4 white pipe cleaners, we glue the flower on one side, it should be facing the front, in this case I first measured the headband to be able to visualize where the flower would be best, on the other hand it is ideal to glue it with hot silicone for greater resistance.

Para cubrir los detalles de parte trasera realicé un espiral verde y lo pegué en el área del detalle, de esta forma terminé mi diadema navideña, me encantó como quedó y el color rojo del limpiapipas es vibrante, espero les haya gustado también.

To cover the details on the back I made a green spiral and glued it in the detail area, this is how I finished my Christmas headband, I loved how it turned out and the red color of the pipe cleaner is vibrant, I hope you liked it too.
