My Actifit Report Card: April 7 2026

Hey Actifitters,

The changing weather patterns slowed down yesterday and it was great weather: cold and sunny, perfect! Le Chat found her way back to the dog bed out on the deck, and apparently was trying to turn her back away from us.

So we started our daily walk without her at first.

She quickly joined of course, but stayed around the edge of the small forest.

We went in with Kaia, to enjoy this beautiful golden hour light.

Even with the lens flares, I like this kind of sunset photos.

Without knowing it, Kaia gave us a few good poses.

It seems Le Chat changed her mind, and went to meet us in the middle of the forest.

I know they're a little blurry as the light was getting too low but I just like these photos side by side. After discovering a few days ago how fun Kaia's obstacles jumping was, Le Chat often copies her now. Almost on command. Almost, it's still Le Chat, she does what she does!

But wait, what is that? Yep, Le Chat picking a fight with a small branch! It's easy to stay entertained for her.

I had a late afternoon meeting so we didn't have enough time to walk to the bigger forest, so we just added a few short loops in the neighborhood. It was perfect to catch the end of the sunset, with a reflection as a bonus.

I kind of thought we'd go for another short walk at night but I had a really bad headache for some reason, hopefully just lack of sleep. So it was pretty much it for the day's activities. Wednesday should be sunny again, let's see if we can enjoy it a little longer.
