My Actifit Report Card: March 22 2026

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday wasn't the greatest day, starting with the weather. I randomly checked the forecast and it said rain and wintry mix was going to start very soon and last pretty much the rest of the day. Of course, we rushed outside with Kaia.

Just a very quick loop in the small forest behind the front yard, so Kaia could stretch her legs a bit.

At least, the forecast was wrong and the rain did stop before nighttime and again we were out the door pretty much immediately, even Le Chat!

I didn't trust it to stay dry though, so we only went to the small forest again.

Le Chat followed and she clearly was on the hunt, small birds I think.

Kaia thought she'd help, but she probably just scared away anything that Le Chat had its eyes on.

So Le Chat went all the way up a tree for a better vantage point. Of course she struggled to get down from it but she eventually made it back.

We didn't wait for her though and went for a short loop around the neighborhood, still worried about the rain to go much further. Just like most days, we met a bunch of deer and two of them were really interested by Kaia. They literally walked up to us, and got quite close. Until Kaia finally couldn't resist any longer and barked at them, and they were gone so fast!

We completed our walk under still menacing clouds, and indeed it started raining/snowing a bit later.

I was still hoping to reach a decent step count but a phone call from my bosses who are currently traveling to Asia, made sure I couldn't. They needed some results very urgently and in addition to what I've been working on for many hours over the week end, I had to try and get them something they could present. Anyways, that's the price of having a very flexible schedule. Sometimes, you have to work odd hours to compensate. Once all these projects are over, I'll be able to take it easy for some time. Hopefully I can stay in #poprzeczka competition till then.
