Passed Second Level of Soulkeep
I've just finished the second level of Soulkeep, and it was seriously difficult compared to the first. While the first level was a bit of a learning curve, the second level really makes you feel like you're in a real battle. The first level was mostly a tutorial that is explaining how to build towers and upgrading them and understand Fiends movements so it was relatively easy.
But when I started the second level, everything changed. The game now depend entirely on your decisions and how you choose the good cards and build a good plan. There are no cues or hints; you have to have a good understanding from the beginning and know how to move on your own. What made it even more challenging was that the Fiends were faster and stronger, and they slipped between towers easily if you weren't paying close attention.
But also, in the challenge, new things appeared that made the game more exciting. The first was a new spell called Stew of Doom a very powerful spell that helps you wipe out a group of monsters at once if used at the right time. It saved me almost twice when things got out of hand.
I was also able to unlock new towers like Charnel Pit and King Trosser, which made a huge difference for me. Charnel Pit deals continuous damage in a specific area and slows down enemies, making it ideal against fast monsters. King Trosser, on the other hand, is a heavy tower with powerful hits, devastating any approaching Fiend.
Honestly, after passing the second level, I felt like the real challenge was just beginning. The more you progress in Soulkeep the more you feel like you need to develop your strategy and think carefully before building or using a spell. But in the end when you succeed and feel like you've won despite the difficulty, you feel a cool sense of accomplishment.
