Joined and Passed First Level of Soulkeep
I recently joined Soulkeep, and because I'm a fan of defense games, I felt like I was playing a heavy strategy game against the computer's AI. This is a genre I love because it relies on planning and intelligence more than just speed. But honestly, the game isn't easy at all, and that's what made me even more excited.
The first level was not as easy as I expected:
Most games start off easy, giving us a chance to understand the mechanics and prepare for more difficult challenges. But here? Even the first level was difficult. Although it's part of a tutorial, I felt a real challenge as I tried to repel successive waves of enemies. I had to think carefully about the placement of my towers and my choices, otherwise it was very easy to lose from the start.
The first two towers I tried were Gloom Owl and Tarantula Loom:
Gloom Owl which is very dangerous tower that helps kill low HP and weaken enemies in the battle especially when it is upgraded and Tarantula Loom as It hit well and was very useful against fast waves of enemies in the game.
However, despite my use of these towers, the Fiends are extremely fast and terrifyingly powerful. If you're not careful with them, they can easily breach your defenses and reach your target, making the game require strong strategic planning from the outset.
Since the game is clearly going to be challenging and competitive, I'm excited to quickly learn the different types of towers and how to use them properly so I can reach higher levels without suffering. Each tower adds a new tactical element, which makes Soulkeep a fun and strategically diverse game.
For now, I'm really enjoying the challenge and looking forward to diving deeper into the world of Soulkeep. I'll definitely share any new discoveries over time.
I had a similar experience; it took more attempts than I'd like to admit to pass the last couple of levels of league One. I just wish league two didn't require having 1000 SPS staked to access. I'll get there eventually, one modern ranked victory at a time.
