It's similar tone everywhere and just like you, when the weather allows, I'd go out and soak up the sun- It's free at least. My only concern lately is also the rising price of pet's food, even their necessities get impacted too. I even start thinking the what if I just make it fresh as it seems like a cheaper option than buying canned food.

Unfortunately, everything is affected. If you can make it fresh because it is cheaper, I would choose that option. Here, it is not an option, because our Skipper can't have everything. And to make it fresh for him is more expensive, and would require me to also buy a lot of meat that I normally never buy as a vegetarian. So we stick with the kibble that he always gets. He does well on that, and we will keep it that way.
