Few days ago, while coming back from work I spotted this herd of cattle grazing in what was once the bustling Ahịa Udele (Vulture's market). The market was moved to another location some years ago due to the nuisance it was causing in the city,
In fact, it become a threat to human life.

With the area devoid of activity, it has now transformed into an open space, often overgrown with grasses and plants, making it a perfect spot for nomads to graze their cattles.

Free-grazing remains a common practice in my region, where nomads roam from place to place in search of pasture. One of the spots they often visit is this area that once housed the market, due to its nearby river, which provides a vital source of water for their cattle.

For the many times I've seen these cattles graze, capturing their moments on camera had always seemed elusive - I was always on transit. But few days ago, luck smiled on me, and I finally got a chance to snap them.

Sitting by the window seat of the vehicle while on the commute home was just the perfect spot I needed. Immediately I spotted the cattles peacefully grazing, I swung into action, clicking away, capturing some snapshots, and the lack of traffic gave me a clear view.

I'm thrilled to have finally had the chance to capture the beauty of wildlife in an unexpected setting. The photos may not be the perfect shots, but I'm excited to share them with you. I hope you'll like them.
