I'm not a seasoned photographer nor have I been trained in any but I know good photos when I see them, and these are a bunch of captivating shots, especially the second and last one. I think they'd make a good collection for the exhibition.
About the portraits, I just hope you'll be lucky with getting the portraits of humans to share. If not, you could always submit the cats'.
For me, I'd go out there and ask peeps if I could photograph them for my exhibition. I'm sure some would definitely jump on the request. I could even request for their contacts and send them the photos afterwards. 😅

Im too shy to ask people to photograph them, but I know that I will try this genre at some point :)
