Social Media Challenge | Playing against the rulesets with Quora! 😁
This week I brought a Wild Ranked battle, where I will try to use one of my favorite combo from the Earth Splinter whom in Brawl battles are almost always banned. Still the battle will be difficult, because the rulesets are not the best for my team. 😁
Hope you will enjoy the battle like I did! 😇

Ruleset | Description |
---|---|
Equal Opportunity | All Monsters have the Opportunity ability. |
Reverse Speed | Monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks. |
Briar Patch | All Monsters have the Thorns ability. |
The mana cap was 33, which is not much to pick anything that I want, but the Equal Opportunity ruleset gave me a very good idea to bring one of the best monster in the game and try to take advantage of this ruleset in the favor of her. 😁
The Reverse Speed ruleset is a bit disadvantageous for me, because as soon as my Quora starts to increase all of her stats she is going to be slower and slower under this ruleset. Sadly even the ability of my Summoner is not the best, because it will further "de"-buff the Speed of the enemy monsters. 😒
The Briar Patch ruleset is also not the best for my team, because I have three monsters with Melee attacks, so they will take 2 damage back to themselves if they hit their target. 😜
Lobb Lowland

Lobb Lowland is an amazing Summoner, because he has the ability to bring an additional Gladiator monster into the battle and also be able to decrease the Speed of his enemy monsters. This feature of him will allows me my favorite Gladiator monster, who is many times unbeatable. 😋
Pelacor Mercenary

The Pelacor Mercenary is an excellent all around tank, because he has nice Speed* and damage with good amount of Health and the ability to Heal himself for a reasonable seven mana cost. 😊
Venari Marksrat

I used the Venari Marksrat, because he has the Martyr ability, which means that he will increase all the stats of the monster adjacent to him by one and that is very important to buff up my Quora to the highest level possible. He is also a budget monster, so quite cheap and able to damage one Ranged attack on his enemies. 🤗
Quora Towershed

I think Quora Towershead is simply the best monster in the whole game, because she has two different attack type (Magic and Melee) and the Bloodlust ability, so if she manages to kill a monster she will increase her own stats by one permanently. She also has the self Heal ability to further boost her sustainability and the two Martyr monster next to her will make her truly powerful. 💪
Fungus Flinger

The Fungus Flinger is an excellent monster, because he also has the Martyr ability, which means that he will increase the stats of the monsters next to him in case he dies. He also has the Blind ability, so all the enemy Melee and Ranged attacks have an increased chance of missing their target as long as he is alive. 😂
Djinn Biljka

I used the Djinn Biljka solely, because I didn't have any more mana, so I had to pick a kinda damage dealer for only three mana cost. Usually he has two Magic damage, which is nice, but in this battle he lost one of his Magic damage against their Thaddius Brood. 🤣
Halfling Refugee

The Halfling Refugee cost only one mana and has very good stats, which means that is the perfect choice for this battle, because he is able to attack from the back of my backline taking advantage of the Equal Opportunity ruleset. Even though he will died quickly against the Thorns ability on his targets it doesn't really matter, because his Weary ability will switch him off eventually. 😉

My opponent brought Thaddius Brood who is a Death Splinter Summoner and his powers are to decrease the Magic attack and Health of all of my monsters by one. 😫
In the first round my opponent monsters killed my Marksrat, which was planned and soon after my monsters killed their Venari Marksrat as well, because he had the lowest Heatlh amongst the enemy monsters, which allowed him to buff up the Will-O-Wisp next to him. This was a bit of mistake from my opponent, because I would place the Marksrat somewhere in the middle of my backline to give his Martyr ability to two monsters not just one.
I also lost my Halfling Refugee, because he took too much damage against the enemy Thorns damage and he became a target. Soon after my Fungus Flinger died as well, which was good and only three of my monster left on the battlefield, which is usually not a good sign. 😅
At the beginning of the second round they killed my Djinn Biljka as well and even my Pelacor Mercenary was on the verge to die.
The time has come for my Quora Towershed to step in and save the day! She immediately killed their tank and was able to activate her Bloodlust ability.
At the beginning of the third round I have lost my Pelacor Mercenary as well, so only my Quora left from my team. She killed another monster of theirs, but her high Speed started to became a huge problem not able to hit her targets. 😧
Luckily her Magic damage was not affected by her Speed, so in the very last moment (when she had only one health left) she had the chance to kill the enemy Riftwing and increase her own stats once again, which saved her from dying and use her Heal ability to overcome his enemies and win this difficult battle for me. 😇
