Social Media Challenge | My strategy playing in a low mana battle. 🤔
This week I brought a Wild Ranked battle, where the mana cap will be the only limiting factor building a lineup capable to defeat my opponent. 😊

Ruleset | Description |
---|---|
Standard | No change to standard gameplay rules or mechanics. |
The mana cap was 24, which is not too much mana at all and I need to use a lot of budget monsters with low mana cost in order to fill up my lineup completely. 😊
There will be no rulesets modifying the battle in either way, so only the monsters and their ability will change the outcome of the battle.
That is why it is important to bring more budget monsters with few or at least one solo key monster whom is able to take advantage of the enemy monsters. 😇
Pembrook Nymph

The Pembrook Nymph cost 6 mana, which means that she is quite expensive compared to some of the cheaper Summoners, but her ability is to give +1 Health to all of her friendly monsters, which is also not that strong. On the otherhand her last ability is to bring one additional Gladiator monster into this battle which is quite amazing, because that would be a huge advantage over my opponent if I pick that monster carefully. 💪
Halfling Refugee

The Halfling Refugee Melee attack damage is plus two, which is nice as a tank and compare to his one mana cost. This will allow to him to have a huge drawback, which is his Weary ability, which means that from round one these monsters will have 10% chance to became Exhausted whenever he triggers this ability. As soon as he will be Exhausted he will skip his actual turn. 😜
Hardy Stonefish

The Hardy Stonefish also cost one mana, which is quite affordable hence I used him as my off-tank, because compared to his mana caost he has quite a lot of Armor and Health, which makes him an excellent off-tank to protect my backline from the incoming enemy Melee attacks. 🤗
Musa Saline

The Musa Saline cost three mana, but her Magic damage is only one. She has the Scavenger ability, which makes her to increase her own Health by one every time a monster dies on the battlefield. She also has the Shatter ability, which means that if shehit her target she will destroy all of their Armor at once. 💪
Venari Marksrat

The Venari Marksrat is always a good option to any team, because he cost only three mana and has +1 Ranged attack, which is not much, but his mana cost is only three. The most important ability of him is his Martyr ability, which means that he will increase the stats of his nearby monsters if he dies. 😁
Isgald Vorst

Isgald Vorst will be my most important Gladiator monster in this battle and that is why I brought Pembrook Nymph as my Summoner. He is a Melee attack monster and he has the Opportunity ability, which means that he will be able to attack the lowest Health monster from the enemy team and on top of that if he manages to kill them he will increase his own stat by one using his Bloodlust ability. 😉
Venari Wavesmith

The Venari Wavesmith is one of my favorite monster, because he is a good damage dealer with amazing protective ability, which is the Protect ability, which means that he will increase the Armor to all of his friendly monsters by two until he is alive. He also has +2 Magic damage, which is pretty good and makes him a perfect choice for this battle for his 5 mana cost. 😋

My opponent brought Kelya Frendul who is also a Water Summoner and his ability is to give +1 Speed and Armor to all of his friendly monsters. 🤓
In the first round my Hardy Stonefish too a huge amount of hit, but luckily the first kill was made by my Isgald Vorst, which was important, because in this way he managed to increase all of his own stats by one.
Soon after my tank also killed their Gibbon off-tank, which was amazing. Right after the first round finished in the beginning of the second round their Deeplurker finished his job killing my Hardy Stonefish. 😒
Musa Saline helped a lot to kill their Cruel Sethropod just before the second round finished and such their Mar Toren Trader who is a Ranged attack monster became their new tank, where she was unable to attack from. 😊
In the third round their Deeplurker killed my tank and right after that my Isgald also killed their new Ranged tank. That is why their Sergeant Grauzral became their tank who was also a Ranged one, so he also lost his ability to attack from there.
In the fourth and fifth round my team was finally able to kill their last two monster and my team was able to win this battle for me. 😇
