My Strategy in the Explosive Weaponry Ruleset

Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog!
The Explosive Weaponry ruleset in Splinterlands gives every monster the Blast ability. This means that whenever a unit attacks, it also deals splash damage to the units adjacent to the main target. In today's post, I'll share how I play the Explosive Weaponry ruleset on defense and offense in order to maximize my winning chances.
Defending Against Blast Damage
One popular strategy that I also employ is using units with the Deflect ability on second position. Deflect ignores Blast damage so this means that it will not get damaged. The Conclave Arcana Life archon grants the Deflect ability to all units and is probably best at defending against Blast Damage. Unfortunately, my life archon is only at level two and rarely used in my battles. Instead, I use the Earth archon and a unit with Deflect ability on second position.
My Offensive Strategy on the Explosive Weaponry Ruleset
Since I expect the enemy to do the same strategy of placing a unit with Deflect on second position, I would use units with Snipe, Opportunity or Sneak abilities. This means that the Blast damage will hit the rear and middle units instead of the second position card. This way, the damage will be concentrated on the less defended back line units instead of the first and second positions.
Featured Battle

In this battle, I had the Earth splinter with Doomshield Warden as my tank. On second position, I had Thunderhoof Nomad, a unit whose purpose is to block Blast damage with her Deflect ability. My succeeding units were all Opportunity and Sneak attackers to target the enemy's weakly defended backline.
The enemy had the Death splinter also with Doomshield Warden as tank. He didn't have a unit with Deflect so he used another tank in second position to absorb the damage from Blast. His damage dealers were made up of magic and range units including a healer.
In the first round, the Thunderhoof Nomad was effective in blocking Blast while my damage dealers decimated the enemy's backline. Three enemy back line units were disposed of in the first round alone while my team stayed intact.

By round two, the battle was over with my team taking the victory.
