New year period in the Liotes Ranking

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Welcome to this latest edition of the Liotes news:

  • Today we have started a new year period in the Liotes Ranking. In the video, I try to explain how the credits from the Liotes Mission actually have an expiration date and how we count these points.

I've loved spreadsheets since I started with VisiCalc on a Commodore Pet in the 1980s. Through Lotus-123 and others, to Excel and Google Sheets today. So I greatly admire your sheet that measures a 3-goal index.

I understood the delegation and the LENM staking scores. So now, it's great to fully understand the Mission Credits part.

I'm happy it allowed you to clarify the Mission Credits part. I also like spreadsheets but I tend to add and add things and finally my spreadsheet end up quite messy lol

Thanks for the news. I agree that's a good idea for engagement points to have an expiration date. 👍

It's maybe a bit a complicated system but we believe it's quite a fair one for everybody.

It's a little reset but that doesn't really have a direct influence on the ranking.

it's a good way to keep the active members motivated.
Initially i use to barely keep my position inside 15, Today, i am on 9th.
Few players have surely moved away or reduced their stake in liotes.

I am aware, however I do not care much about it. It's 3 point only, I do not need to worry much about it, it will rise and down organically.

The explanation on the decline of credits on the previous year makes sense. I think it makes sense for the inactive members to slowly lose their points over time.

We believe that it is necessary to have this credit decline in place otherwise the ranking would be populated with people that are not active anymore and they would still get ranking rewards.
