The Optimization of My Modern Format Card Collection: Sales & Purchases!
I signed up on Hive in March 2019, and six months later (September 2019), I started playing Splinterlands.

With Splinterlands, my passion for web3 games began, and in particular, my passion for Hive-based games, for which I have a natural preference because Hive is my favorite blockchain platform.
On Splinterlands, I like to play Ranked Play in formats where bots are not allowed: Modern Format and Frontier Format.

In this post, I share my recent sales and purchases of cards that can be used in the Modern Format.
On Splinterlands, I enjoy playing more than collecting cards, and for this reason, a card that I don't use in battle or use very rarely is a potential card to rent out or sell with the aim of purchasing other cards that I could use in the game.
Today, I looked through my card collection to find some cards to sell.
I put 1 copy of Queen Mycelia level 1 up for sale because I already have 1 copy of Queen Mycelia at the maximum level.
I had made my level 1 Queen Mycelia available for rent, but it has been completely unused for two months.
Thanks to Peakmonsters' useful Not Used (days)= 7 filter, I also found two legendary cards from the Rebellion set that I haven't used in a long time in the Modern Format
I have also decided to put other cards up for sale:
- Level 1 Kei (last used: 53 days ago)
- Level 1 Zebajin (last used: 24 days ago)
Both of these cards were in my Mage wagons, and I had to remove them from their slots first in order to put them up for sale.
As for my purchase goals, I would like to buy at least one copy of Gramel the Hunger, which is a very useful card in high mana battles.
Today I raised my purchase offer for Gramel the Hunger because it was no longer the best
I raised my purchase offer from $8 to $9, but I am still willing to increase it if no one accepts my purchase offer.
Today I created two more purchase offers for:
- 3 copies of Bren Palesworn
- 2 copies of Zyrx the Emberglace
I would like to have Bren Palesworn level 2 because it is a card that I could use in combination with other cards that have magic attack points and the Weapon Training ability.
For example, by using Bren Palesworn and Rage separated by a card without attack, I could have a card with all three different types of attack.
Instead, I need two copies of Zyrx the Emberglace to bring this card to the second level.
Zyrx the Emberglace is a very useful card in battle because it has 7 total attack points, but at level 1 it is not very versatile because it can mainly be used in the front position, the only position in which it can use its melee attack.
Its usefulness and versatility increase at level 2 because it acquires the Charge ability and can use its 5 melee attack points from any position.
I am willing to spend $4 on bcx to have level 2 Zyrx the Emberglace in my NFT collection.
To have an extra card to use in battles with the Little League ruleset or simply with little mana available today, I purchased Ferrous Brewer level 2.
I used https://monstermarket.io/ to make the purchase.
I spent 3375.52 DEC and received a cashback of 81.01 DEC.
I chose to purchase Ferrous Brewer level 2 because:
- it is a neutral card that can be used with all archons
- it can attack from all positions
- in my collection, I don't have any neutral cards with a melee attack greater than 1 and a mana cost less than or equal to 4
- in battles with little mana, I have added an extra option
When I purchase a card and share my purchase in a post, I also like to show how I use that card in battle, but I can't do that because the card has a 14-hour cooldown and I have to wait that amount of time before I can use it in the game.
So, I conclude this post by showing two recent battles I played in the Modern Format.
I chose to share two battles with the Little League rule (only cards costing 4 mana or less can be used) because these are the battles in which my latest purchase, Ferrous Brewer, is particularly useful.
In the first battle, if I had Ferrous Brewer, I could have used it instead of Ironwing Juggernaut (to have a card with the same attack but without the Weary ability problem) or Mar Toren Trader (to have a card that can attack when and if it reaches the front row).
In the second battle, if I had Ferrous Brewer, I could have used it instead of Great Porcupine to have a card with a higher attack and capable of attacking from the first position.
What upgrade would you recommend for Modern in Diamond?

In questo post condivido le mie recenti operazioni di vendita, acquisto e upgrade delle carte utilizzabili nel Modern Format.
Su Splinterlands mi piace più giocare che collezionare carte e per questo motivo una carta che non uso in battaglia o uso molto raramente è una potenziale carta da dare in noleggio oppure da vendere con l'obiettivo di acquistare altre carte che potrei utilizzare nel gioco.
Oggi ho guardato la mia collezione di carte per cercare alcune carte da vendere.
Ho messo in vendita 1 copia di Queen Mycelia di livello 1 perchè ho già 1 copia di Queen Mycelia di livello massimo.
Avevo messo la mia Queen Mycelia di livello 1 disponibile per il noleggio ma sono due mesi che è rimasta completamente inutilizzata.
Ho messo in vendita Queen Mycelia allo stesso prezzo della migliore offerta di acquisto in modo da venderla subito.
Grazie all'utile filtro Not Used (days)= 7 di Peakmonsters ho individuato anche due carte leggendarie del set Rebellion che non uso da molto tempo nel Modern Format.
Ho scelto di mettere in vendita:
- Kei di livello 1
- Zebajin di livello 1
Entrambe queste carte erano nei miei Mage wagons e ho dovuto prima rimuoverle dagli slots che occupavano per poterle mettere in vendita.
Per quanto riguarda i miei obiettivi di acquisto mi piacerebbe acquistare almeno una copia di Gramel the Hunger che è una carta molto utile nelle high mana battles.
Oggi ho alzato la mia offerta di acquisto per Gramel the Hunger perchè non era più la migliore
Ho alzato la mia offerta di acquisto da 8$ a 9$ ma sono disposto ancora ad aumentarla se nessuno accetterà la mia offerta di acquisto.
Oggi ho creato altre due offerte di acquisto per:
- 3 copie di Bren Palesworn
- 2 copie di Zyrx the Emberglace
Mi piacerebbe avere Bren Palesworn di livello 2 perchè è una carta che potrei utilizzare in combinazione con altre carte che hanno punti di attacco magico e l'abilità Weapon Treaning.
Ad esempio usando Bren Palesworn e Rage separate da una carta senza attacco potrei avere una carta con tutte e tre le tipologie diverse di attacco.
Mi servono invece due copie di Zyrx the Emberglace per portare questa carta al secondo livello.
Zyrx the Emberglace è una carta molto utile in battaglia perchè ha 7 punti di attacco totali ma al livello 1 non è molto versatile perchè può essere impiegata principalmente in prima posizione, unica posizione in cui può usare il suo attacco da mischia.
Aumenta la sua utilità e versatilità al livello 2 perchè acquisisce l'abilità Charge e può utilizzare i 5 punti di attacco da mischia da ogni posizione.
Sono disposto a spendere 4$ per bcx per avere Zyrx the Emberglace di livello 2 nella mia collezione di NFT.
Per avere una carta in più da utilizzare nelle battaglie con la ruleset Little League oggi ho acquistato Ferrous Brewer di livello 2.
Per l'acquisto ho utilizzato https://monstermarket.io/
Ho speso 3375.52 DEC e ho ricevuto un cashback di 81.01 DEC.
Ho scelto di acquistare Ferrous Brewer di livello 2 perchè:

Quando acquisto una carta e condivido il mio acquisto in un post mi piace anche mostrare come utilizzo questa carta in battaglia ma non posso farlo perchè la carta ha un cooldown di 15 ore e devo aspettare questo intervallo di tempo per poterla utilizzare nel gioco.
Concludo questo post mostrando due mie recenti battaglia che ho giocato nel Modern Format.
Ho scelto di condividere due battaglie con la regola Little League (possono essere utilizzate solo le carte che costano 4 o meno mana) perchè sono proprio le battaglie in cui il mio ultimo acquisto, Ferrous Brewer, è particolarmente utile.
Nella prima battaglia, se avessi avuto Ferrous Brewer lo avrei potuto usare al posto di Ironwing Juggedrnaut (per avere una carta con lo stesso attacco ma senza il problema dell'abilità Weary) o Mar Toren Trader (per avere una carta che può attaccare quando e se arriva in prima posizione)
Nella seconda battaglia, se avessi avuto Ferrous Brewer lo avrei potuto usare al posto di Great Porcupin per avere una carta con un attacco maggiore e capace di attaccare anche dalla prima posizione.
Che upgrade consiglieresti per il Modern in Diamond?

Managing cards is another fun aspect of Splinterlands, but at the same time it takes a bit of time.
Nice upgrades. As for cards not renting out, I haven't been paying attention to that for a while because it costs DEC to list a rental price. I do think its smart to move things around when things aren't working though.
Thanks, and you need to pay attention to cards that are not in demand on the market so you don't spend dec unnecessarily. On Peakmonsters, there is a feature that allows you to remove cards that have not been requested from the rental list so you don't put them up for rent ;)

Hello, in Modern Format and Frontier Format, you must win 5 battles before the counter reaches 0. Looking at the image you posted, it could be that you won 4 battles before the counter reached 0 and then won the fifth battle afterwards, meaning you need to win another 4 battles to claim your first daily reward.
I mean, you're saying I have to win five battles and not lose even one of them. Am I right?
Hi @mirzaiqi I understand the problem. To receive Fortune Entries, there is a cap that depends on the SPS tokens staked.
You must have at least 2,500 SPS staked or rent them to receive daily rewards.

If not, then I have won five battles many times in this way but I am not getting anything when claiming the reward.
Hi. Is it really making good income of buying and selling these cards?
Some cards are easy to sell, while others are not.
I have always used this buying and selling strategy to maintain a competitive card collection, at least in the Gold leagues, and after six years I am still playing in these leagues ;)
