My Modern Format Daily Game Activity: Champion III League Reached!
There are several game modes on Splinterlands but my favorite game ode is the ranked play and more specifically I like to play in the Modern Format of Ranked Play because in this format there are no bots and battle helpers are not allowed while bots and battle helpers are the standard in the Wild Format.
The general sale of the new card set, Conclave Arcana, will begin on May 13, 2025, and the Modern Format will be completely revolutionized because Chaos Legion cards and Riftwatchers cards can no longer be used in the Modern Format.
My gaming results in my favorite format will most likely suffer because the strongest part of my card collection that I use in Modern Format consists precisely of Chaos Legion cards and top-level Riftwatchers cards.
For this reason after playing many seasons only in the Modern Format, when the new set will be released, I will be forced to return to play (not play) also in the Wild Format in which however I will use a bot.
In the same way I will continue to play and have fun in the Modern Format although to build up a competitive card collection for the Diamond leagues I will need time but I will use the rewards I will gain in the Wild Format to improve the strength of my usable card collection in the Modern Format.
I will write a post in the coming days to share my choices and strategies for after May 13 but in the meantime I continue to have fun in Modern Format with my Chaos Legion, Riftwatchers and Rebellion cards
In this post I share my playing activity during the last day of the season because there is less than 1 day left until the end of the current season which will be the penultimate season of Modern Format in which you can use Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers cards.
In the previous season I played only 176 battles because I had little free time available, in the current season I have played even fewer battles because I had even less free time and including for three days I have disconnected completely from work and also from Hive to be close to and help a dear friend of mine who, unfortunately, lost his wife to cancer.
Family affections and friendships are the true value of life and everything else has much less value in my opinion....
I can only pray for my friend and my friend's wife and two young children who will now have to grow up and live without their mother....
In this post I share a my daily game session in the Modern Format and I will write this post contextually with my game activity and alternate writing phases with game phases.
My starting point before starting my game session is:
- League: Diamond I (Modern Format)
- Rating: 3540
- Available Energy: 50
- Glint Balance: 52601.8 Glint
- Season End Loot: 45773 Glint
- Rank: 84 (Diamond Leaderboard)
- Total Battles: 136
- Total Wins: 73
In Modern Format I play with two accounts (libertycrypto27 and libertygame27) but in this post I show you the game activity of my main account which has the strongest card collection in battles compared to the other account.
With @libertycrypto27 in the Modern Format:
- I use a card collection (owned + soulbound) consisting of 1308 cards = 28771 BCX = 614940 CP = $3108.67 Market Value (using Market Prices).
- I have a SPS stake = 134K (-50K delegated to libertygame27) = 84K effective
- I do not rent cards from the market and only use cards I own.
It would be very nice if during my playing session I can get into the Champion III league because this is a result I have achieved only one other time in Modern Format.
In order to reach the Champion III league I have to reach a rating score = 3700 points so I am 160 points away.
First battle: 99 available mana - Battle Rules: Shades of Gray, Weak Magic and Stampede.
When the battle rule is Stampede I like to use the summoner Possibilus The Wise because it gives the Trample ability to all summoned cards but my opponent also makes the same choice.
Choosing to use Coerl lurker in the first position and Arkemis the Bear in the second position was one of the strategic choices that allowed me to easily win this battle and start my daily game session in the best way possible, with a victory.

After 9 battles in which I get 7 wins I arrive at the battle that, if won, would allow me to enter the Modern Format's Champion III league.
Tenth battle: 53 available mana - Battle Rules: What Doesn't Kill You, Target Practice and Super Sneak.
In this battle, my opponent and I used:
- the same summoner
- two cards that are the same level but in different positions
I win the battle mainly thanks to Commander Slade's speed and his BackFire and Dodge abilities.
In fact Commander Slade avoids many attacks while my cards in the first positions can continue to attack enemy cards.
I win the battle and achieve a rating score of 3720 which allows me to advance to Champion III league!
I was very happy with this achievement even if it was partial because the season is still in progress.
As reward I received 27 chests and in the next image you can see what I found.
I did not stop at this achievement and continued my game session by playing more battles.

In the game session I showed you I played 28 battles.
Compared to the starting point I showed you earlier there were these changes:
- League: Diamond I -> Champion III.
- Rating: 3540 -> 3700 = +160
- Available Energy: 50 -> 31 = -19
- My Glint Balance: 52601.8 Glint -> 64537.8 Glint = +11936 Glint
- Season End Loot: 45773 Glint -> 57709 Glint = +11936 Glint
- Rank: 84 -> 34 = -50 (Diamond Leaderboard)
- Total Battles: 136 -> 164 = +28
- Total Wins: 73 -> 89 = +16
The game session I showed you was a very positive game session for me because for the second time since I have been playing in Modern Format I reached Champion III league.
It is also the first time I have entered the top 50 in the seasonal leaderboard and if I maintain position 34 I will receive an additional 100K Glint reward which will be very useful for me to make progress in upgrading Rebellion reward soulbound cards which will be very useful to me especially from May 13 when I will not be able to use my Chaos Legion cards and my Riftwatchers cards.
My win rate in the daily game session was 57.14% which is higher than my win rate in the current season and is also higher than the win rate I got in the previous season.
Thanks to 16 wins in battle today I earned 112.25 SPS.
112.25 SPS have a value = 4.49 SWAP.HIVE.
I will not convert these SPSs to SWAP.HIVE or DEC because I have an SPS-related goal to reach: 150K SPS
I have 135767 SPS in my wallet and I still have more than 14K SPS to accumulate to reach my goal.
Before the end of the current season I will continue to play in Modern Format and when I have brought my energy bar to the value of 0 and if I have free time, I will also play in Survival Mode because at the beginning of each season the cooldown of cards lost in battle is reset and I do not run the risk of not having all my cards available at the beginning of the next season in Modern Format.

La mia attività di gioco giornaliera nel Modern Format: ho raggiunto la lega Champion III!
Su Splinterlands ci sono diverse modalità di gioco ma la mia modalità preferita è il ranked play e più precisamente mi piace giocare nel Modern Format del Ranked Play perchè in questo formato non ci sono i bots e non è consentito usare i battle helpers che invece sono lo standard nel Wild Format.
Il 13 maggio 2025 inizierà la general sale del nuovo set di carte, Conclave Arcana, e il Modern Format sarà completamente rivoluzionato perchè le carte Chaos Legion e le carte Riftwatchers non potranno essere più utilizzate nel Modern Format.
I miei risultati di gioco nel mio formato preferito subiranno un molto probabile peggioramento perchè la parte più forte della mia collezione di carte che uso nel Modern Format è costituita proprio da carte Chaos Legion e da carte Riftwatchers di massimo livello.
Per questo motivo dopo aver giocato molte stagioni solo nel Modern Format, quando il nuovo set sarà rilasciato, sarò costretto a ritornare a giocare (non giocare) anche nel Wild Format nel quale però userò un bot.
Allo stesso modo continuerò a giocare e divertirmi nel Modern Format anche se per costruirmi una collezione di carte competitiva per le leghe Diamond avrò bisogno di tempo ma utilizzerò le ricompense che otterrò nel Wild Format per migliorare la forza della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format.
Nei prossimi giorni scriverò un post per condividere le mie scelte e le mie strategie per il dopo 13 maggio ma nel frattempo continuo a divertirmi nel Modern Format con le mie carte Chaos Legion, Riftwatchers e Rebellion.
In questo post condivido la mia attività di gioco durante l'ultimo giorno della stagione perchè manca meno di 1 giorno alla fine della stagione in corso che sarà la penultima stagione del Modern Format in cui è possibile utilizzare le carte Chaos Legion e Riftwatchers.

In questo post condivido una mia sessione di gioco giornaliera nel Modern Format e scriverò questo post contestualmente alla mia attività di gioco e alternerò fasi di scrittura a fasi di gioco.
Il mio punto di partenza prima di iniziare la mia sessione di gioco è:

Nel Modern Format gioco con due accounts (libertycrypto27 e libertygame27) ma in questo post ti mostro l'attività di gioco del mio account principale che ha la collezione di carte più forte in battaglia rispetto all'altro account.
Con @libertycrypto27 nel Modern Format:
- utilizzo una collezione di carte (di proprietà + soulbound) composta da 1308 carte = 28771 BCX = 614940 CP = 3108.67$ Market Value (using Market Prices).
- ho un SPS stake = 134K (-50K delegati a libertygame27) = 84K effettivo
- non noleggio carte dal mercato e utilizzo solo le carte di mia proprietà
Sarebbe molto bello se durante la mia sessione di gioco riuscissi ad entrare nella lega Champion III perchè questo è un risultato che ho raggiunto solo un'altra volta nel Modern Format.
Per raggiungere la lega Champion III devo riuscire a raggiungere un punteggio di rating = 3700 punti e quindi sono distante 160 punti.
Prima battaglia: 99 mana disponibili - Battle Rules: Shades of Gray, Weak Magic e Stampede.
Quando la battle rule è Stampede mi piace utilizzare l'evocatore Possibilus The Wise perchè conferisce l'abilità Trample a tutte le carte evocate ma anche il mio avversaria fa la mia stessa scelta.
La scelta di utilizzare Coerl lurker in prima posizione e Arkemis the Bear in seconda posizine è stata una delle scelte strategiche che mi ha permesso di vincere agevolmente questa battaglia e inizio la mia sessione di gioco giornaliera nel migliore dei modi, con una vittoria.

Dopo 9 battaglie in cui ottengo 7 vittorie arrivo alla battaglia che, se vinta, mi permetterebbe di accedere alla lega Champion III del Modern Format.
Decima battaglia: 53 mana disponibili - Battle Rules: What Doesn't Kill You, Target Practice e Super Sneak.
Io e il mio avversario utilizziamo:
- lo stesso evocatore
- due carte uguali ma in posizioni diverse
Vinco la battaglia soprattutto grazie alla velocità di Commander Slade e alle sue abilità BackFire e Dodge.
Infatti Commander Slade evita molti attacchi mentre le mie carte nelle prime posizioni possono continuare ad attaccare le carte nemiche.
Vinco la battaglia e raggiungo un punteggio di rating di 3720 che mi permette di avanzare nella lega Champion III!
Sono stato molto contento di questo risultato anche se parziale perchè la stagione è ancora in corso.
Come ricompensa ho ricevuto 27 chests e nella prossima immagine puoi vedere cosa ho trovato.
Non mi sono fermato a questo risultato e ho continuato la mia sessione di gioco giocando altre battaglie.

La sessione di gioco che ti ho mostrato è stata una sessione di gioco molto positiva per me perchè per la seconda volta da quando gioco nel Modern Format ho raggiunto la lega Champion III.
Tra l'altro è anche la prima volta che entro nella top 50 della leaderboard stagionale e se manterrò la posizione 34 riceverò un premio aggiuntivo di 100K Glint che mi sarà molto utile per fare dei progressi nell'upgrade delle carte Rebellion reward soulbound che mi saranno molto utili soprattutto a partire dal 13 maggio quando non potrò utilizzare le mie carte Chaos Legion e le mie carte Riftwatchers.
Il mio win rate nella sessione di gioco giornaliera è stato del 57.14% che è superiore al mio win rate nella stagione in corso ed è superiore anche al win rate che ho ottenuto nella stagione precedente.
Grazie a 16 vittorie in battaglia oggi ho guadagnato 112.25 SPS.
112.25 SPS hanno un valore = 4.49 SWAP.HIVE.
Io non convertirò questi SPS in SWAP.HIVE o in DEC perchè ho un obiettivo relativo agli SPS da raggiungere: 150K SPS
Nel mio wallet ho 135767 SPS e ho ancora più di 14K SPS da accumulare per raggiungere il mio obiettivo.
Prima della fine della stagione in corso continuerò a giocare nel Modern Format e quando avrò portato la mia barra dell'energia al valore 0, giocherò anche nel Survival Mode perchè ad ogni inizio stagione il cooldown delle carte perse in battaglia viene azzerato e non corro il rischio di non avere tutte le mie carte disponibili all'inizio della prossima stagione nel Modern Format.

I’d say that reaching the championship league 111 is a great feat so far. From what you explained, am optimistic that hopefully the playing in the wild format and the use of reward strategy for the upgrade would help you to up your performance if the strongest cards are finally excluded. My cards are in a similar situation as yours. I'll be sticking to wild once Chaos Legion rotates out of modern. Hopefully I'll eventually get more modern cards so I can compete in modern league but it could be awhile before that happens.
