Moon Karts Season 47: My Results and Rewards Analysis
+ My New Seasonal Goals
It is several months that I play and have fun on Moonkarts, a Hive-based arcade race game that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.
On Moon Karts, I have two main goals:
- Improve my Kart Preset by purchasing and combining NFTs.
- Accumulate 1 million COLONY tokens in staking.
I am very close to reaching my goal for staked COLONY tokens because I have 940K COLONY staked and only need to add 60K COLONY to my stake to reach my goal.
I accumulated 940K COLONY mainly thanks to the rewards I earned by playing season after season.
In fact, I started playing regularly and consistently from season 13 onwards.
In this post, I share:
- an analysis of my results and rewards obtained in season 47
- my new goals for the current season, season 48
Analysis of my results and rewards in season 47
On Moon Karts, seasons last 10 days, and the last season that ended was season 47, which started on December 15 and ended on December 25.
With the Christmas holidays approaching, I have gradually reduced my posting activity on Hive and also my gaming activity in Hive-based games, which are one of my passions.
I will resume my posting and gaming rhythm when my daughter starts school, so after January 6. Until January 6, I want to spend most of my free time with my 12-year-old daughter, so I will be active on Hive when my daughter is at swimming practice or busy with her friends.
My desire to spend most of my free time with my daughter and family is the reason why I have been less active on Hive over the past week, and it is also the reason why I only played 43 races in season 47 on Moon Karts.
43 races played is not my worst season record because it was in season 46 that I played even fewer races.

In Season 47, I made no changes to my Kart Preset, which consists of:
- Kart: Arachno Eclipse (Legendary)
- Driver: Drift (Legendary)
- Accessories: Flex Edge (Legendary), Jet Flow (Epic), Grip Ease (Rare)
- Tech Cards: Reinforced Body (Epic), Tire Upgrade (Epic), Engine Enhancement (Epic)
- Fuel Consumption: 221.1 (first 10 races), 243.21 (races 11-20), 267.53 (races 21-30)
I started and ended the season with 940K COLONY staked.
The amount of COLONY staked is an important element on Moon Karts because, together with the Rating (=Ranking points), it determines the Multiplier.
I like to track my gaming activity, and in the next image you can see the data I collected during season 47:
- the number of races I played
- the rating points I earned after each race
- my final ranking in each race
- the amount of Orbitals and Colony collected in each race
- the amount of FUEL consumed
On Moon Karts, all players start the season with 1000 ranking points.
The COLONY token rewards per race increase as your ranking points increase = as the number of races played increases.
In the first race:
- I finished first (+10 ranking points)
- I collected 3 orbitals and 5 colony items along the way (in-game items that do not correspond to COLONY tokens)
- I earned 1.9 COLONY
In the 43rd race:
- I finished first (+10 ranking points)
- I collected 6 orbitals and 4 colonies along the way
- I earned 6 COLONY
Considering only the rewards I won in individual races, I earned a total of 165 COLONY.
My final results in the two seasonal leaderboards were:
- 6th place in the Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 10637 COLONY (previous season: 5th place: 5610 COLONY)
- 9th place in the Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8474 COLONY (previous season: 8th place: 8920 COLONY)
Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of [COLONY] tokens (https://hive-engine.com/trade/COLONY) and the market value of HIVE tokens ($0.101), I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received for playing in season 47.
Adding up all the rewards I earned (races + leaderboards), I received a total seasonal reward of 19276 COLONY = 13.76 SWAP.HIVE = 1.38$
Selling 19276 COLONY on Hive Engine earns 13.76 SWAP.HIVE = $1.38
Exchanging 19276 COLONY for SWAP.HIVE tokens via the COLONY:SWAP.HIVE pool allows you to receive 14.17 SWAP.HIVE instead of 13.76 SWAP.HIVE
In this case, the difference is small, but on other occasions it was very large.
For this reason, when you need to buy or sell COLONY tokens (and any tokens in general), I recommend that you always check what you can get by using all the available sale/purchase options first.
Thanks to the rewards I earned in season 47 (leaderboards + races) and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from the daily airdrop as an SPS stakeholder and GLX stakeholder (+550.43 COLONY), today I added +20189.81 COLONY to my stake.
I now have 960693.79 COLONY staked.
Thanks to the COLONY token rewards I received for playing in season 47, I have made progress towards my goal of accumulating 1 million COLONY tokens in staking:
- I have completed 96.07% of my goal.
- I need to stake 39,306.21 COLONY to reach my goal.
My goals for season 48
The current season, season 48, began on December 25 and will end in 4 days and 22 hours.
I haven't started playing yet this season, but I'll start today and try to play at least 10 races a day so that I can finish the season with at least 50 races played and improve on my results and rewards compared to season 47.

Moon Karts Season 47: l'Analisi dei miei risultati e delle mie ricompense
Da diversi mesi gioco e mi diverto su Moonkarts, un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.
Su Moon Karts ho due obiettivi principali:
- migliorare il mio Kart Preset acquistando e combinando NFTs.
- accumulare un quantitativo di 1 Milione di token COLONY in staking.
Sono molto vicino a raggiungere il mio obiettivo relativo ai token COLONY in staking perchè ho 940K COLONY in staking e mi mancano solo 60K COLONY da aggiungere al mio stake per raggiungere il mio obiettivo.
Ho accumulato 940K COLONY soprattutto grazie alle ricompense che ho ottenuto giocando stagione dopo stagione.
Infatti ho iniziato a giocare con una buona regolarità e costanza a partire dalla stagione numero 13.
In questo post condivido:
- l'analisi dei miei risultati e delle ricompense che ho ottenuto nella stagione 47
- i miei nuovi obiettivi per la stagione in corso, la stagione 48
L'analisi dei miei risultati e delle mie ricompense nella stagione 47
Su Moon Karts le stagioni hanno una durata di 10 giorni e l'ultima stagione conclusa è stata la stagione 47 che è iniziata il 15 dicembre ed è terminata il 25 dicembre.
Con l'avvicinarsi delle festività natalizie ho progressivamente diminuito la mia attività di pubblicazione su Hive e anche la mia attività di gioco negli Hive-based games che sono una delle mie passioni.
Riprenderò il mio ritmo di pubblicazione e di gioco con l'inizio della scuola di mia figlia e quindi dopo il 6 gennaio. Fino al sei gennaio voglio passare la maggior parte del mio tempo libero con mia figlia che ha 12 anni e quindi sarò attivo su Hive nei momenti in cui mia figlia è impegnata.
La mia voglia di passare la maggior parte del mio tempo libero con mia figlia e con la mia famiglia è il motivo per cui sono stato poco attivo su Hive nell'ultima settimana ed è anche il motivo per cui ho giocato solo 43 corse nella stagione 47 su Moon Karts.
43 corse giocate non è il mio peggior record stagionale perchè è nella stagione 46 che ho giocato un numero di corse ancora inferiore.

Nella stagione 47 non ho fatto modifiche al mio Kart Preset che è composto da:

Ho iniziato e concluso la stagione con 940K COLONY staked.
Il quantitativo di COLONY staked è un elemento importante su Moon Karts perchè insieme al Rating (=Ranking points) determina il Multiplier.
Mi piace monitorare la mia attività di gioco e nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere i dati che ho raccolto durante la stagione 47:
- il numero di corse che ho giocato
- i punti di rating che ho guadagnato dopo ogni corsa
- il mio posizionamento finale in ogni corsa
- il quantitativo di Orbitals e Colony raccolti in ogni corsa
- il quantitativo di FUEL consumato
Su Moon Karts tutti i giocatori iniziano la stagione con 1000 ranking points.
Le ricompense in token COLONY per singola corsa aumentano con l'aumentare dei ranking points = con l'aumentare delle corse giocate.
Nella prima corsa:
- sono arrivato primo (+10 Ranking points)
- ho raccolto 3 orbitals e 5 colony lungo il percorso (in-game items che non corrispondono ai COLONY tokens)
- ho guadagnato 1.9 COLONY
Nella 43ª corsa:
- sono arrivato primo (+10 Ranking points)
- ho raccolto 6 orbitals e 4 colony lungo il percorso
- ho guadagnato 6 COLONY
Considerando solo le ricompense che ho vinto nelle singole corse ho guadagnato in totale 165 COLONY.
I miei risultati finali nelle due leaderboards stagionali sono stati:
- 6° posto nella Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 10637 COLONY (stagione precedente: 5° posto: 5610 COLONY)
- 9° posto nella Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8474 COLONY (stagione precedente: 8° posto: 8920 COLONY)
In base al valore di mercato (Highest Bid) dei token COLONY e in base al valore di mercato del token HIVE (0.101$) ho calcolato il valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari della ricompensa stagionale totale che ho ricevuto per aver giocato nella stagione 47.
Sommando tutte le ricompense che ho guadagnato (races + leaderboards) ho ricevuto una ricompensa stagionale totale di 19276 COLONY = 13.76 SWAP.HIVE = 1.38$
Vendere 19276 COLONY su Hive Engine fa guadagnare 13.76 SWAP.HIVE = 1.38$
Scambiare 19276 COLONY con i token SWAP.HIVE tramite la pool COLONY:SWAP.HIVE permette di ricevere 14.17 SWAP.HIVE invece di 13.76 SWAP.HIVE
In questo caso la differenza è piccola ma in altre occasioni era molto ampia.
Per questo motivo quando devi acquistare o vendere i token COLONY (e in generale qualsiasi token) ti consiglio di verificare sempre prima quello che puoi ottenere utilizzando tutte le opzioni di vendita/acquisto disponibili ;)
Grazie alle ricompense che ho guadagnato nella stagione 47 (leaderboards + corse) e grazie ai token COLONY che ho guadagnato dall'airdrop giornaliero come SPS stakeholder e GLX stakeholder (+550.43 COLONY) oggi ho aggiunto +20189.81 COLONY al mio stake.
Adesso ho 960693.79 COLONY staked.
Grazie alle ricompense in token COLONY che ho ricevuto per aver giocato nella stagione 47 ho fatto dei passi in avanti verso il mio obiettivo di accumulo di 1 Milione di token COLONY in staking:
- ho completato il 96.07% del mio obiettivo.
- mi mancano 39306.21 COLONY in staking per raggiungere il mio obiettivo.
I miei obiettivi per la stagione 48
La stagione in corso, la stagione 48, è iniziata il 25 dicembre e terminerà tra 4 giorni e 22 ore.
Nella stagione in corso non ho ancora iniziato a giocare ma inizierò oggi e cercherò di giocare almeno 10 corse al giorno in modo da concludere la stagione con almeno 50 corse giocate e migliorare i risultati di gioco e le ricompense che ho ottenuto nella stagione 47.
