Moon Karts Season 46: Leaderboards, Active Players, COLONY/Orbital Points Ratio & My Results and Rewards Analysis (ENG/ITA)

Moon Karts Season 46: Leaderboards, Active Players & COLONY/Orbital Points Ratio
+ My Results and Rewards Analysis!
It is several months that I play and have fun on Moonkarts, a Hive-based arcade race game that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.
Today, December 15, season 46 ended and season 47 began, which will end in 9 days, 22 hours, and 56 minutes.
In this post, I share:
- the positions of the two leaderboards for season 46 with about 50 minutes left in the season
- the calculation of the COLONY/Orbital Points ratio
- an analysis of my game results and rewards in season 46
Leaderboards and Active Players in Season 46
Moon Karts has three different reward mechanisms that reward players with COLONY tokens:
- Single race reward mechanism
- Ranked Leaderboards
- Orbitals Leaderboard
In races with 6 players, the top 3 places receive a COLONY token reward at the end of the race.
In races with 5 players, the top 2 places receive a COLONY token reward at the end of the race.
All players who play in a race receive Ranking Points, while players who collect at least 2 orbital items along the way also earn Orbital Points.
Ranking points and orbital points are the basis of the two seasonal reward mechanisms:
- Ranked Leaderboards (Ranking points count)
- Orbitals Leaderboard (Orbital points count)
On Moon Karts, it is not possible to see the results and rankings of players in the two leaderboards obtained in the previous season.
I hope that Moon Karts will implement this feature in the future, as I believe it is important.
Until this feature is implemented, and if my work commitments allow, I will take screenshots of all the positions on the two leaderboards on the last day of the season and, if possible, a few minutes before the end of the season.
Today, I had some free time 50 minutes before the end of season 46, so I took screenshots of the positions of the two seasonal leaderboards.

The Ranked Leaderboard is based on:
- Ranking Points earned by players in races: 10 Ranking Points for first place, 8 Ranking Points for second place, 5 Ranking points for third place...
- The Staking Factor, which depends on the amount of COLONY staked.
In the Ranked Leaderboard of season 46, the following players ranked in the top three positions:
First place: @yuno.raize
Second place: @mahar26
Third place: @tryhard32
yuno.raize won the seasonal Ranked Leaderboard, beating mahar26 by 406 ranking points.
The Orbitals Leaderboard is based on:
- the Orbital Points earned by players in races.
- the NFTs that make up the Kart Preset: the rarity and foil of an NFT directly influence the amount of Orbital Points that can be earned during a race.
To earn Orbital Points during a race, you must collect at least 2 Orbitals (in-race items) along the race route.
The player who came third in the Ranked Leaderboard (@yuno.raize) won the Orbitals Leaderboard with over 19 million Orbitals.
The player who came first in the Ranked Leaderboard (@tryhard32) came third.
These two players were separated in the rankings by @spaceghost25, who collected more than 11 million Orbital points.
The last place in the Ranked Leaderboard is important because it corresponds to the number of active players this season = 21.
The COLONY/Orbital Points ratio
The highest rewards distributed during a season are those distributed through the Orbitals Leaderboard, which is based on Orbital Points.
To provide general and useful information to other players or simply to those who are interested or might be interested in starting to play Moon Karts, I calculated the COLONY/Orbital Points ratio
In season 46:
- I accumulated 520,600 Orbital Points
- For my position in the Orbitals Leaderboard, I received a reward of 5,610 COLONY.
These two pieces of information allow me to calculate the COLONY/Orbital Points ratio
In season 46, the COLONY/Orbital Points ratio was 0.01077603 COLONY per Orbital point.
The Orbital Points/COLONY ratio is information that applies to all players and means that 1000 Orbital Points generated 10.776027 COLONY.
Analysis of my results and rewards in season 46
In Season 46, I used this Kart Preset:
- Kart: Arachno Eclipse (Legendary)
- Driver: Drift (Legendary)
- Accessories: Flex Edge (Legendary), Jet Flow (Epic), Grip Ease (Rare)
- Tech Cards: Reinforced Body (Epic), Tire Upgrade (Epic), Engine Enhancement (Epic)
- Fuel Consumption: 221.1 (first 10 races), 243.21 (races 11-20), 267.53 (races 21-30)
On Moon Karts, seasons last 10 days, and I've had very little free time over the last 10 days.
For this reason, during season 46, I only played 35 races, which is a very small number compared to the number of races I played in previous seasons.

I started and ended season 46 with 924850.88 COLONY staked.
I show the amount of COLONY staked in my possession in each of my seasonal reports because the amount of COLONY staked together with the rating (=Ranking points) determines the Multiplier.
In the next image, you can see the data I collected in each of the races I played in season 46.
On Moon Karts, COLONY token rewards per race increase as the number of races played increases and, consequently, as ranking points increase.
In the first race:
- I finished first (+10 ranking points)
- I collected 5 orbitals and 5 colony along the way (in-game items that do not correspond to COLONY tokens)
- I earned 2.35 COLONY
In the 35th race:
- I finished first (+10 ranking points)
- I collected 6 orbitals and 4 colony along the way
- I earned 6 COLONY
During season 46:
- I collected 152 Colony items (not tokens)
- I collected 191 Orbital items
- I consumed 7700.84 FUEL
Considering only the rewards I won in individual races, I earned a total of 136 COLONY (previous season: 5245 COLONY).
My final results in the two leaderboards were:
- 5th place in the Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 5610 COLONY (previous season: 3rd place: 46340 COLONY)
- 8th place in the Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8920 COLONY (previous season: 5th place: 10404 COLONY)
Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of [COLONY] tokens (https://hive-engine.com/trade/COLONY) and the market value of HIVE tokens ($0.094), I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of my total seasonal reward.
Adding up all the rewards I earned (races + leaderboards), I received a total seasonal reward of 14666 COLONY = 10.17 SWAP.HIVE = $0.95

I have summarized my total seasonal results in tabular form.
Thanks to the rewards I earned in season 46 (leaderboards + races) and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from the daily airdrop as an SPS stakeholder and GLX stakeholder (+563.93 COLONY), today I added +15229.90 COLONY to my stake.
I now have 940,080.79 COLONY staked and I am 59,019.21 COLONY short of my goal of 1 million COLONY staked.
My goals for season 47
December is a busy month for me at work, but it's also full of enjoyable events to spend with my family.
For this reason, I'll have very little time to devote to gaming, so I've set a smaller goal for season 47 than I did in previous seasons.
My minimum seasonal goal will be to play at least 50 races, and I will postpone the more difficult goals until the first season of 2026.

With two first places, I've started the new season well, but to get good results at the end of the season, I need to try to play a good number of races.

Moon Karts Season 46: Leaderboards e Giocatori Attivi, il rapporto Orbitals/COLONY e l'Analisi dei miei risultati e delle mie ricompense stagionali
Da diversi mesi gioco e mi diverto su Moonkarts, un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.
Oggi 15 dicembre è terminata la stagione numero 46** ed è iniziata la stagione 47 che terminerà tra 9 giorni. 22 ore e 56 minuti.
In questo post condivido:
- le posizioni delle due leaderboards della stagione 46 a circa 50 minuti dalla fine della stagione
- il calcolo del rapporto COLONY/Orbital Points
- l'analisi dei miei risultati di gioco e delle mie ricompense nella stagione 46
Le Leaderboard e i giocatori attivi nella stagione 46
Su Moon Karts ci sono tre diversi meccanismi di ricompensa che premiano i giocatori con quantitativi di COLONY token:
- meccanismo di ricopensa per singola corsa
- Ranked Leaderboards (contano i ranking points)
- Orbitals Leaderboard (contano gli orbital points)
Nelle corse con 6 giocatori i primi 3 posti ricevono un premio in token COLONY alla fine della corsa.
Nelle corse con 5 giocatori i primi 2 posti ricevono un premio in token COLONY alla fine della corsa.
Tutti i giocatori che giocano in una corsa ricevono Ranking Points mentre i giocatori che raccolgono almeno 2 orbital items lungo il percorso guadagnano anche Orbital points.
I ranking points e gli orbital points sono alla base dei due meccanismi di ricompensa stagionali:
- Ranked Leaderboards (contano i Ranking points)
- Orbitals Leaderboard (contano gli orbital points)
Su Moon Karts non è possibile vedere i risultati e il posizionamento dei giocatori nelle due leaderboards ottenuto nella stagione precedente.
Spero che in futuro Moon Karts implementi questa funzionalità che secondo me è importante.
Fino a quando questa funzionalità non sarà implementata e se i miei impegni di lavoro me lo permetteranno farò degli screenshots di tutte le posizioni delle due leadearboards durante l'ultimo giorno della stagione e possibilmente pochi minuti prima della fine della stagione.
Oggi ho avuto tempo libero quando mancavano 50 minuti alla fine della stagione 46 e ho fatto gli screenshots delle posizioni delle due leaderboards stagionali.

La Ranked Leaderboards si basa:
- sui Ranking Points guadagnati dai giocatori nelle corse: 10 Ranking points per il primo posto, 8 Ranking points per il secondo posto, 5 Ranking points per il terzo...
- sullo Staking Factor che dipende dal quantitativo di COLONY messi in staking.
Nella Ranked Leaderboard della stagione 46 nelle prime tre posizioni si sono posizionati questi giocatori:

yuno.raize ha vinto la Ranked Leaderboard stagionale distanziando mahar26 di 406 ranking points.
L'Orbitals Leaderboards si basa:
- sugli Orbital Points guadagnati dai giocatori nelle corse.
- sugli NFT che compongono il Kart Preset: la rarità e la foil di un NFT influenzano direttamente il quantitativo di Orbital Points guadagnabili durante una corsa.
Per guadagnare Orbital Points durante una corsa è necessario raccogliere almeno 2 Orbitals (in-race items) lungo il percorso della corsa.
Il giocarore arrivato terzo nella Ranked Leaderboard (@yuno.raize) ha vinto la Orbitals Leaderboard con oltre 19 milioni di Orbitals.
Il giocatore arrivato primo nella Ranked Leaderboard (@tryhard32) è invece arrivato terzo.
Questi due giocatori sono stati separati in classifica da @spaceghost25 che ha raccolto più di 11 milioni di Orbital points.
L'ultimo posto nella Ranked Leaderboard è importante perchè corrisponde al numero dei giocatori attivi stagionali = 21.
Il rapporto COLONY/Orbital Points
I premi più alti distribuiti durante una stagione sono quelli distribuiti tramite la Orbitals Leaderboard che si basa sugli Orbital Points.
Per dare informazioni generali e utili agli altri giocatori o semplicemente a chi è interessato o potrebbe essere interessato a iniziare a giocare su Moon Karts ho calcolato il rapporto COLONY/Orbital Points
Nella stagione 46:
- ho accumulato 520600 Orbital Points
- per il mio posizionamento nella Orbitals Leaderboard ho ricevuto una ricompensa di 5610 COLONY.
Queste due informazioni mi permettono di calcolare il rapporto COLONY/Orbital Points
Nella stagione 46 il rapporto COLONY/Orbital Points è stato di 0.01077603 COLONY per Orbital point.
Il rapporto Orbital Points/COLONY è un informazione che vale per tutti i giocatori e significa che 1000 Orbital Points hanno generato 10.776027 COLONY.
L'analisi dei miei risultati e delle mie ricompense nella stagione 46

Su Moon Karts le stagioni hanno una durata di 10 giorni e negli ultimi 10 giorni ho avuto pochissimo tempo libero.
Per questo motivo durante la stagione 46 ho giocato solo 35 corse che è un numero di corse molto piccolo rispetto al numumero di corse che ho giocato nelle precedenti stagioni.

Ho iniziato e concluso la stagione 46 con 924850.88 COLONY staked.
Mostro il quantitativo di COLONY staked in mio possesso in ogni mio report stagionale perchè il quantitativo di COLONY staked insieme al rating (=Ranking points) determina il Multiplier.
Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere i dati che ho raccolto in ognuna delle corse che ho giocato nella stagione 46.
Su Moon Karts le ricompense in token COLONY per singola corsa aumentano con l'aumentare delle corse giocate e di conseguenza con l'aumentare dei ranking points.
Nella prima corsa:
- sono arrivato primo (+10 Ranking points)
- ho raccolto 5 orbitals e 5 colony lungo il percorso (in-game items che non corrispondono ai COLONY tokens)
- ho guadagnato 2.35 COLONY
Nella 35ª corsa:
- sono arrivato primo (+10 Ranking points)
- ho raccolto 6 orbitals e 4 colony lungo il percorso
- ho guadagnato 6 COLONY
Durante la stagione 46:
- ho raccolto 152 Colony items (non sono i token)
- ho raccolto 191 Orbital items
- ho consumato 7700.84 FUEL
Considerando solo le ricompense che ho vinto nelle singole corse ho guadagnato in totale 136 COLONY (stagione precedente: 5245 COLONY).
I miei risultati finali nelle due leaderboards sono stati:
- 5° posto nella Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 5610 COLONY (stagione precedente: 3° posto: 46340 COLONY)
- 8° posto nella Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 8920 COLONY (stagione precedente: 5° posto: 10404 COLONY)
In base al valore di mercato (Highest Bid) dei token COLONY e in base al valore di mercato del token HIVE (0.094$) ho calcolato il valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari della mia ricompensa stagionale totale.
Sommando tutte le ricompense che ho guadagnato (races + leaderboards) ho ricevuto una ricompensa stagionale totale di 64097 COLONY = 44.82 SWAP.HIVE = 4.88$

I miei obiettivi per la stagione 47
Dicembre è per me un mese pieno di impegni lavorativi ma è anche pieno di piacevoli eventi da passare con la mia famiglia.
Per questo motivo avrò davvero poco tempo da dedicare ai giochi e per la stagione 47 ho fissato un obiettivo più piccolo di quello che avevo fissato nelle stagioni precedenti.
Il mio obiettivo minimo stagionale sarà di giocare almeno 50 corse e rimanderò gli obiettivi più difficili da raggiungere alla prima stagione del 2026.
Oggi ho giocato le mie prime due corse stagionali.

Con due primi posti ho iniziato bene la nuova stagione ma per ottenere dei buoni risultati alla fine della stagione devo cercare di giocare un buon numero di corse.
