Moon Karts Season 41: Leaderboards , COLONY/Orbital Points Ratio & My Results and Rewards Analysis (ENG/ITA)

Moon Karts Season 41: Leaderboards , COLONY/Orbital Points Ratio & My Results and Rewards Analysis!
It is several months that I play and have fun on Moonkarts, a Hive-based arcade race game that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.
Moon Karts is one of the games I follow with the most interest because it combines fun, competition, and a well-structured reward system.
Yesterday, October 26, 2025, season 41 ended and season 42 began, which will end in 9 days and 17 hours.
In this post, I share:
- the positions of the two leaderboards of season 41 about 7 hours before the end of the season
- the calculation of the COLONY/Orbital Points ratio
- the analysis of my game results and rewards in season 41
Seasonal Leaderboards
Moon Karts has a reward mechanism in COLONY tokens for each race, which rewards players who finish in the top two places in a single race with 2 to 5 players.
In races with six players, third place also receives a reward in COLONY tokens.
In addition to the rewards available in a single race, there are also two seasonal reward mechanisms:
- Ranked Leaderboards
- Orbitals Leaderboard
Unlike other games such as Splinterlands and dCrops, where you can see the results of the previous season's leaderboards, on Moon Karts you can only see the results of the two leaderboards during the season in progress.
I hope that in the future Moon Karts will implement this feature, which I think is important.
Until this feature is implemented, I will take screenshots of all the positions of the two leaderboards on the last day of the season and possibly a few minutes before the end of the season.
In my previous post, I published screenshots of the two leaderboards that I photographed 15 minutes before the end of the season.
Today I was out of town with my family and couldn't take screenshots of the two leaderboards a few minutes before the end of the season, but I did so when there were about 7 hours left in the season.
In the next images, you can see the positions of the two leaderboards when there were 7 hours and 47 minutes left before the end of season 41.

The Ranked Leaderboard is based on:
- Ranking Points earned by players in races: 10 Ranking Points for first place, 8 Ranking Points for second place, 5 Ranking points for third place...
- The Staking Factor, which depends on the amount of COLONY staked.
In the Ranked Leaderboard of season 41, the top three positions were occupied by the same players who had occupied the top three positions in the Ranked Leaderboard of season 40:
First place: @mahar26
Second place: @spaceghost25
Third place: @tryhard32
Mahar26 played fewer races than in the previous season, when he accumulated more than 9,000 ranking points.
But his results are still impressive because, considering that the winner of a single race earns 10 ranking points, to earn 7,390 ranking points, it is necessary to play a minimum of 739 races in 10 days, always finishing first.
The last place on the Ranked Leaderboard was taken by @freemonster, who earned only 5 Ranking Points during Season 41 (each player starts the season with 1000 ranking points) and received a prize of 1683 COLONY tokens.
The Orbitals Leaderboard is based on:
- the Orbital Points earned by players in races.
- the NFTs that make up the Kart Preset: the rarity and foil of an NFT directly influence the amount of Orbital Points that can be earned during a race.
To earn Orbital Points during a race, you must collect at least 2 Orbitals (in-race items) along the race route.
In the Orbitals Leaderboard of season 41, the top player was @spaceghost25, who collected more than 24 million Orbital Points.
In the Orbitals Leaderboard, the top three positions were also occupied by the same players who had occupied them at the end of the previous season.
The COLONY/Orbital Points ratio
When I like a game, I keep track of my game results and the rewards I receive.
In season 41:
- I accumulated 3000060 Orbital Points
- For my position in the Orbitals Leaderboard, I received a reward of 24034 COLONY.
These two pieces of information allow me to calculate the COLONY/Orbital Points ratio.
In season 41, the COLONY/Orbital Points ratio was 0.00801117 COLONY per Orbital point.
The Orbital Points/COLONY ratio is an information that applies to all players and means that 1000 Orbital Points generated 8.01117 COLONY.
Over the last three seasons, the Orbital Points/COLONY ratio has increased season after season.
Analysis of my results and rewards in season 41
In season 41, I played many more races than in season 40, but I did not achieve my seasonal goal of playing at least 300 races because I stopped at 187 races played.
In fact:
- in season 38, I played 251 races
- in season 39, I played 290 races
- in season 40, I played 73 races
- in season 41, I played 187 races
In season 41, I used this Kart Preset:
- Kart: Arachno Eclipse
- Driver: Drift
- Accessories: Flex Edge, Jet Flow, Grip Ease
- Tech Cards: Reinforced Body, Tire Upgrade, Engine Enhancement
- Fuel Consumption: 260.2 (first 10 races)
I started and ended the season with 720673.94 COLONY staked.
The amount of COLONY staked together with the rating (=Ranking points) determines the Multiplier.
I like to monitor my gaming activity, so I took note of::
- the number of races I played
- the rating points I earned after each race
- my final position in each race
- the amount of Orbitals and Colony collected in each race
- the amount of FUEL consumed
In the next images, you can see the data I collected in each of the races I played in season 41.
On Moon Karts, COLONY token rewards per race increase as the number of races played increases and, consequently, as ranking points increase.
In the first race:
- I finished first (+10 ranking points)
- I collected 6 orbitals and 4 colony along the way (in-game items that do not correspond to COLONY tokens)
- I earned 1.83COLONY
In the 187th race:
- I finished first (+10 ranking points)
- I collected 6 orbitals and 4 colony along the way
- I earned 42 COLONY
Considering only the rewards won in individual races, I earned a total of 3172 COLONY.
My final results in the two leaderboards were:
- 5th place in the Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 24034 COLONY (previous season: 6th place: 9635 COLONY)
- 7th place in the Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 9390 COLONY (previous season: 7th place: 9390 COLONY)
Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of [COLONY] tokens (https://hive-engine.com/trade/COLONY) and the market value of HIVE tokens ($0.141), I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received for playing in season 41.
Adding up all the rewards I earned (races + leaderboards), I received a total seasonal reward of 36596 COLONY = 26.07 SWAP.HIVE = 3.62$
In season 41, I also monitored the quantity of in-game items I collected along the race tracks and the amount of FUEL I consumed:
- Total Colony items (not tokens): 836
- Total Orbital items: 978
- Total Fuel Consumed: 45062.62

I have summarized my total seasonal results in tabular form.
Thanks to the rewards I earned in season 41 (leaderboards + races) and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from the daily airdrop as an SPS stakeholder and GLX stakeholder (+384.13 COLONY), today I added +36980.21 COLONY to my stake.
I now have 757654.15 COLONY staked.
I am continuing to make progress towards my goal of 1 million COLONY staked, but I still need to accumulate 242345.85 COLONY and have completed 75.77% of my goal.
My goals for season 42
In season 41, I didn't reach my goal of 300 races played.
Playing at least 300 races will also be my goal for season 42, but this time I hope to achieve it!

Da diversi mesi gioco e mi diverto su Moonkarts, un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.
Moon Karts è uno dei giochi che seguo con più interesse perché unisce divertimento, competizione e un sistema di ricompense ben strutturato.
Ieri 26 ottobre 2025 è terminata la stagione numero 41 ed è iniziata la stagione 42 che terminerà tra 9 giorni e 17 ore.
In questo post condivido:
- le posizioni delle due leaderboards a circa 7 ore dalla fine della stagione
- il calcolo del rapporto COLONY/Orbital Points
- l'analisi dei miei risultati di gioco e delle mie ricompense nella stagione 41
Le Leaderboard stagionali
Su Moon Karts c'è un meccanismo di ricompensa in token COLONY per singola corsa che premia i giocatori che arrivano nei primi due posti in una singola corsa a cui hanno partecipato da 2 a 5 giocatori.
Nelle corse con sei giocatori anche il terzo posto riceve un premio in COLONY tokens.
Oltre alle ricompense ottenibili in una singola corsa ci sono anche due meccanismi di ricompensa stagionali:
- Ranked Leaderboards
- Orbitals Leaderboard
A differenza di algri giochi come Splinterlands e dCrops in cui è possibile vedere i risultati delle leaderboards della precedente stagione su Moon Karts è possibile vedere i risultati delle due leaderboards solo durante la stagione in corso.
Spero che in futuro Moon Karts implementi questa funzionalità che secondo me è importante.
Fino a quando questa funzionalità non sarà implementata farò degli screenshots di tutte le posizioni delle due leadearboards durante l'ultimo giorno della stagione e possibilmente pochi minuti prima della fine della stagione.
Nel mio precedente post ho pubblicato gli screenshots delle due leadearboard che ho fotografato a 15 minuti dalla fine della stagione.
Oggi sono stato fuori città con la mia famiglia e non ho potuto fare gli screenshots delle due leaderboard a pochi minuti dalla fine della stagione ma quando mancavano circa 7 ore alla fine della stagione.
Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere le posizioni delle due leaderboards quando mancavano 7 ore e 47 minuti alla fine della stagione 41.

La Ranked Leaderboards si basa:
- sui Ranking Points guadagnati dai giocatori nelle corse: 10 Ranking points per il primo posto, 8 Ranking points per il secondo posto, 5 Ranking points per il terzo...
- sullo Staking Factor che dipende dal quantitativo di COLONY messi in staking.
Nella Ranked Leaderboard della stagione 41 le prime tre posizioni sono state occupate dagli stessi giocatori che avevano occupato le prime tre posizioni nella Ranked Leaderboard della stagione 40:
Primo posto: @mahar26
Secondo posto: @spaceghost25
Terzo posto: @tryhard32
Mahar26 ha giocato meno corse rispetto alla precedente stagione in cui aveva accumulato più di 9000 Ranking Points.
Ma i suoi risultati sono comunque impressionanti perchè se consideri che chi arriva primo in una singola corsa guadagna 10 ranking points per guadagnare 7390 ranking points è necessario giocare un minimo di 739 corse in 10 giorni arrivando sempre primi.
L'ultimo posto della Ranked Leaderboard è stato occupato da @freemonster che con soli 5 Ranking Points guadagnati durante la stagione 41 (ogni giocatore inizia la stagione con 1000 ranking points) ha ricevuto un premio di 1683 COLONY tokens.
L'Orbitals Leaderboards si basa:
- sugli Orbital Points guadagnati dai giocatori nelle corse.
- sugli NFT che compongono il Kart Preset: la rarità e la foil di un NFT influenzano direttamente il quantitativo di Orbital Points guadagnabili durante una corsa.
Per guadagnare Orbital Points durante una corsa è necessario raccogliere almeno 2 Orbitals (in-race items) lungo il percorso della corsa.
Nella Orbitals Leaderboard della stagione 41 il top player è stato @spaceghost25 che ha collezionato più di 24 milioni di Orbital Points.
Anche nella Orbitals Leaderboard le prime tre posizioni sono state occupate dagli stessi giocatori che le avevano occupate alla fine della stagione precedente.
Il rapporto COLONY/Orbital Points
Quando un gioco mi piace prendo nota dei miei risultati di gioco e delle ricompense che ricevo.
Nella stagione 41:
- ho accumulato 3000060 Orbital Points
- per il mio posizionamento nella Orbitals Leaderboard ho ricevuto una ricompensa di 24034 COLONY.
Queste due informazioni mi permettono di calcolare il rapporto COLONY/Orbital Points
Nella stagione 41 il rapporto COLONY/Orbital Points è stato di 0.00801117 COLONY per Orbital point.
Il rapporto Orbital Points/COLONY è un informazione che vale per tutti i giocatori e significa che 1000 Orbital Points hanno generato 8.01117 COLONY.
Nelle ultime tre stagioni il rapporto Orbital Points/COLONY è aumentato stagione dopo stagione.
L'analisi dei miei risultati e delle mie ricompense nella stagione 41
Nella stagione 41 ho giocato molte più corse rispetto alla stagione 40 ma non ho raggiunto il mio obiettivo stagionale: giocare almeno 300 corse perchè mi sono fermato a 187 corse giocate.
Infatti:
- nella stagione 38 ho giocato 251 corse
- nella stagione 39 ho giocato 290 corse
- nella stagione 40 ho giocato 73 corse
- nella stagione 41 ho giocato 187 corse
Nella stagione 41 ho utilizzato questo Kart Preset:
- Kart: Arachno Eclipse
- Driver: Drift

Ho iniziato e concluso la stagione con 720673.94 COLONY staked.
Il quantitativo di COLONY staked insieme al rating (=Ranking points) determina il Multiplier.
Mi piace monitorare la mia attività di gioco e ho preso nota:

- dei punti di rating che ho guadagnato dopo ogni corsa

Su Moon Karts le ricompense in token COLONY per singola corsa aumentano con l'aumentare delle corse giocate e di conseguenza con l'aumentare dei ranking points.
Nella prima corsa:
- sono arrivato primo (+10 Ranking points)
- ho raccolto 6 orbitals e 4 colony lungo il percorso (in-game items che non corrispondono ai COLONY tokens)
- ho guadagnato 1.83 COLONY
Nella 187ma corsa:
- sono arrivato primo (+10 Ranking points)
- ho raccolto 6 orbitals e 4 colony lungo il percorso
- ho guadagnato 42 COLONY
Considerando solo le ricompense vinte nelle singole corse ho guadagnato in totale 3172 COLONY.
I miei risultati finali nelle due leaderboards sono stati:
- 5° posto nella Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 24034 COLONY (stagione precedente: 6° posto: 9635 COLONY)
- 7° posto nella Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 9390 COLONY (stagione precedente: 7° posto: 9390 COLONY)
In base al valore di mercato (Highest Bid) dei token COLONY e in base al valore di mercato del token HIVE (0.141$) ho calcolato il valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari della ricompensa stagionale che ho ricevuto per aver giocato nella stagione 41.
Sommando tutte le ricompense che ho guadagnato (races + leaderboards) ho ricevuto una ricompensa stagionale totale di 36596 COLONY = 26.07 SWAP.HIVE = 3.62$
Nella stagione 41 ho monitorato anche il quantitativo degli in-game items che ho raccolto lungo i tracciati delle corse e il quantitativo di FUEL che ho consumato:

It looks like the game is going well for you. I wonder if the colony/orbital rate going up is because there are fewer people playing games. It would make sense then.
Yes, generally the ratio goes up if there are fewer active players, but it could also go up if there are more players but a top player plays less in a season.
