The more I enjoy a game, the more I like to write about it on my Hive blog to share my progress, gameplay, and strategies.
The case of Golem Overlord is a little different because even though it's a fun game for me, I haven't published any content related to it for over a month.
The reason is that there have been no recent updates or development progress.
The game is active and perfectly playable, but the creator/developer seems to have lost interest in improving and promoting it, as documented in this post by @stradaxlaliberta.
In fact, the last post published by golem.overlord on Hive was the announcement of the release of the Beta version: Golem Overlord Conquest Mode Enters Beta: Massive Updates and New Features!, posted on December 23, 2024.
The latest announcement posted on Discord has the same date.

Personally, I think the creator/developer of Golem Overlord is very talented because they have created the best idle game playable on Hive and have also created a fun and well-structured player vs. player game mode.
In fact, Golem Overlord is a Hive-based game that has two game modes you can play:
- an idle mode
- a player vs player autobattler mode called Conquest Mode.

I play both game modes, but Conquest Mode is my favorite mode on Golem Overlord.

Before today, I hadn't played Golem Overlord since August 10, 2025, when I left for a 10-day vacation with my family.
Today, I resumed playing Golem Overlord, and I will try to play regularly and frequently, but until there are new updates and developments, my main goal will be to break even.
In idle mode, I resumed playing by attacking 26 players, filtering only those with a defense lower than my attack and a faith attribute lower than mine.
With the PART tokens I earned from attacks:
- I upgraded my Faith stat: level 247 -> 248.
- I built 51 golems
In the next image, you can see my game statistics.
Regarding my favorite game mode on Golem Overlord, Conquest Mode, today I played my first battles in the current season, which is almost over because there is only 1 day and 1 hour left until the end of the season.

In the game session I showed you in this post, I played a total of 10 battles.
Out of 10 battles:
- I won 9 battles
- I lost 1 battle
My position in the seasonal leaderboard is 47th place, which entitles me to receive 25 ANIMA tokens as an end-of-season reward.
Obviously, I will try to play more battles before the end of the season to try to improve my current position in the leaderboard.
- Thanks to my 9 battle victories, I earned 6.06 ANIMA tokens = 0.098 SWAP.HIVE
Today, I sold the ANIMA tokens I earned in the game session I showed you in this post, plus the ANIMA tokens I had in my in-game wallet.
I sold 72.32 ANIMA and received 1.16955904 SWAP.HIVE
In Conquest Mode, I invested 316.24 SWAP.HIVE, which I used mainly to purchase Golems crates.
From the sale of ANIMA tokens, I earned 60.71 SWAP.HIVE
To reach the break-even point, I still need to earn 255.52 SWAP.HIVE
I continue to see a lot of potential in this game, but my future decision on whether to sell ANIMA tokens or buy them, and my decision to upgrade my golems, will depend on and be guided by:
- the future value of ANIMA tokens
- the number of active players
- future updates.

Più un gioco mi diverte e più mi piace scrivere contenuti sul gioco nel mio Hive blog per condividere i miei progressi, la mia attività di gioco e le mie strategie.
Il caso di Golem Overlord è un pò diverso perchè anche se è un gioco divertente non pubblico contenuti relativi a questo gioco da più di un mese.
Il motivo è che non ci sono stati aggiornamenti e progressi di sviluppo recenti.
Il gioco è attivo e perfettamente giocabile ma il creatore/sviluppatore sembra aver perso interesse nel migliorarlo e nel promuoverlo come documentato in questo post di @stradaxlaliberta

Personalmente penso che il creatore/sviluppatore di Golem Overlord è molto bravo perchè ha creato il miglior idle game giocabile su Hive e ha anche creato una modalità di gioco player vs player divertente e ben strutturata.
Infatti Golem Overlord è un gioco Hive-based che ha due modalità di gioco a cui è possibile giocare:
- una modalità idle mode
- una modalità autobattler player vs player che si chiama Conquest Mode.

Gioco a entrambe le modalità di gioco ma il Conquest Mode è la mia modalità di gioco preferita su Golem Overlord.

Prima di oggi non giocavo su Golem Overlord dal 10 agosto 2025, giorno in cui sono partito per una vacanza di 10 giorni con la mia famiglia.
Oggi ho ripreso a giocare su Golem Overlord e cercherò di giocare con una buona regolarità e una buona frequenza ma fino a quando non ci saranno nuovi aggiornamenti e nuovi sviluppi il mio obiettivo principale sarà raggiungere il punto di pareggio.
Nella modalità idle ho ripreso a giocare attaccando 26 giocatori filtrando solo i giocatori con una difesa inferiore al mio attacco e con un attributo faith inferiore al mio.
Con i token PART che ho guadagnato dagli attacchi:
- ho fatto l'upgrade della statistica Faith: level 247 -> 248.
- ho costruito 51 golems
Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere le mie statistiche di gioco.
Per quanto riguarda la mia modalità di gioco preferita su Golem Overlord, il Conquest Mode, oggi ho giocato le mie prime battaglie nella stagione in corso che è quasi giunta al termine perchè mancano solo 1 giorno e 1 ora alla fine della stagione.

Nella sessione di gioco che ti ho mostrato in questo post ho giocato in totale 10 battaglie.
Su 10 battaglie:
- ho vinto 9 battaglie
- ho perso 1 battaglia
La mia posizione nella leaderboard stagionale è il 47° posto che permette di ricevere 25 ANIMA tokens come premio di fine stagione.
Ovviamente cercherò di giocare altre battaglie prima della fine della stagione per cercare di migliorare la mia attuale posizione nella leaderboard.

Oggi ho venduto i token ANIMA che ho guadaganto nella sessione di gioco che ti ho mostrato in questo post più i token ANIMA che avevo nel mio in-game wallet.

- dai futuri aggiornamenti.
