Today, after 17 days, I'm back to share my progress and some general seasonal statistics on dCrops, a Hive-based farming game that I've been playing since its release more than 4 years ago.
Season 114, the summer season, is currently underway on dCrops and will end in 11 days and 20 hours.
Summer started just over three days ago, but I only started playing today.
December is a busy month for me at work, so I have little free time to devote to my passions, which include Hive and Hive-based games.
Starting to play today will cost me the loss of some crops, but before sharing my early season gameplay, I'll share some seasonal statistics from the previous season.
The CROP/SHARE ratio and the number of active players (Season #113 - Spring)
During each season I like to use the View Last Season Leaderboard feature to get useful information about the number of active players and CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season.
Knowing the CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season is useful information especially for new players because this way they can have an estimate of the value in CROP they can get by using a seed-type NFT.
In fact, each seed-type NFT planted in a land-type NFT produces crops that can be sold in exchange for SHARES points, and each SHARE point earned during a season allows players to receive a prize in CROP tokens at the end of the season.
For example, NFT Kale produces 2 Kale in 6 days.
1 Kale can be sold in exchange for 7 SHARES
Using NFT Kale during the spring season allows you to earn a total of 14 SHARES
For example, if the CROP/SHARE ratio is 0.4, selling 2 Kale crops will earn you 5.6 CROP tokens.
In season 113, players earned 0.393 CROP for each SHARE point, a decrease of -0.106 CROP compared to the previous season:
- Season 113: CROP/SHARE = 0.393 CROP
- Season 112: CROP/SHARE = 0.499 CROP
- Season 111: CROP/SHARE = 0.421 CROP
- Season 110: CROP/SHARE = 0.434 CROP
- Season 109: CROP/SHARE = 0.409 CROP
- Season 108: CROP/SHARE = 0.438 CROP
The gain in CROP per share point is something I consider important, which is why I will share and update this information in each of my posts about dCrops.
Unfortunately, I did not take a screenshot of the CROP/SHARE ratio of season 80 but I will try not to miss the data of future seasons.

I verified that this link only works for seasons 68 and up.
Starting from season 84 I also began to keep track of the number of active players season after season.
In season 113, there were 178 active players, one fewer than in season 112.
After a brief pause, season 112, in which the number of active players remained stable, season 113 saw the number of active players resume its downward trend:
- season 113: active players = 178
- season 112: active players = 179
- season 111: active players = 179
- season 110: active players = 183
- season 109: active players = 195
I started monitoring and sharing the number of active players in my posts starting from season 84, and the general trend has been one of continuous decline, albeit in a non-linear way, because there was an increase in active players, especially during events.
In season 86, there were 282 active players, while today there are 183.
In the next images you can see the active players from season 108 to season 84.
My game activity, progress and achievements in season 113
The start of a season is when I perform the most game operations:
- I free up my land plots if they contain seed-type NFTs that did not have time to produce crops before the end of the season.
- I claim seasonal rewards
- I request new seasonal quests
- I check if I can complete all seasonal quests
- If I can't complete some quests, I use the reroll feature to only get quests that I can complete
- I plant my seed-type NFTs in my land plots.
I have chosen to play only in Farm mode, but dCrops offers multiple game modes to choose from or play simultaneously.
In Season 113, I completed the seven seasonal quests and received 15 Reward Chests as a reward.
In the reward chests, I found:
- 6 craft items (4 Pepper + 2 Salt)
- 3 boosters (3 Speed-gro)
- 4 resource-type NFTs (1 Wood + 1 Stone + 1 Copper Ore + 1 Iron Ore)
I will convert the craft items into Shares points during the first future event (if there is one).
I will put resource-type NFTs up for sale because I have chosen to play only in Farm mode, where they are of no use.
I will use Mystery Seeds in seasons when I have fewer seeds to plant.
I use Boosters almost every season to speed up the growth of crops that take longer and to increase the probability of receiving high-rarity crops that are worth more Shares points.
Today, December 24, 2025:
1 Wood NFT is worth 0.495 SWAP.HIVE
1 Stone NFT is worth 0.035 SWAP.HIVE
1 Copper Ore NFT is worth 0.085 SWAP.HIVE
1 Iron Ore NFT is worth 1.445 SWAP.HIVE
Based on these estimated market values, the four resource-type NFTs I found today have a total estimated value of 2.06 SWAP.HIVE.
Today I also opened 1 Reward Chest ++ that I received thanks to the Lucky Wheel!
I have put all the resource-type NFTs in my possession up for sale at the lowest price on the market.
Season after season, the Shares point value of my inventory increases because I follow an event-oriented strategy:
- during the seasons, I only sell crops to complete seasonal sell quests
- I keep all other crops to sell them only during events with the aim of obtaining the most valuable rewards in the Event Shop.
In previous years, dCrops organized a Christmas event, but this year there will be no Christmas event.
This was announced by the game's creator on Discord in response to a player.
In 2025, three events have been canceled compared to the event schedule held in 2024.
Without events, dCrops loses a lot of its appeal in my opinion, and at this point, I think I will reevaluate my strategy and share my choices and strategies in my next posts.
The current value of my inventory is 49087 SHARES.
At the start of season 112, my inventory was worth 46182 SHARES.
During season 112, the value of my inventory increased by +2905 SHARES.
New season and new seasonal quests to complete!
In the next image, you can see the 7 new seasonal quests that I have to complete during season 114 (the current season).
With the new summer quests, I was quite lucky because I only received 2 uncompletable quests out of 7.
Thanks to the Reroll feature:
- I changed the Plant 2 Sunflower Seeds quest to the Harvest 3 Oregano Crops quest.
- I changed the Sell 3 Napa Cabbage quest to the Plant 2 Chamomile Seeds quest.
I used the Reroll feature twice and spent 20 CROP, but I got 7 completable quests out of 7!
The last game operation I perform at the beginning of each season is to plant my seed-type NFTs in the Farm section of dCrops.
Before planting my seed-type NFTs, I used all my Speed-gro Boosters because I started planting very late this season.
In fact, I have 21 Watermelon seeds to plant that take 12 days to become crops, but the current season will end in less than 12 days.
With 5 Speed-gro, I was able to plant 15 Watermelons that I otherwise would not have been able to plant.
In the next images, you can see all the seeds I planted today in my 48 land-type NFTs, which contain a total of 79 plots.
When I published my previous seasonal report on dCrops on December 6, 2025, the value of the CROP token was:
- Highest Bid Value: 0.00203240 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0002154

Today, December 24, 2025, the value of the CROP token is:
- Highest Bid Value: 0.00240550 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0002259

Today, December 24, 2025, it is more convenient to use the Buy CROP feature on Hive Engine to buy CROP tokens than to use the SWAP feature of the CROP:SWAP.HIVE pool.
In fact, if you buy 100 CROP on Hive Engine at the Lowest Ask value, you spend 0.24056 SWAP.HIVE
If you buy 100 CROP using the SWAP feature of the CROP:SWAP.HIVE pool, you spend 0.24176562 SWAP.HIVE
dCrops is a game I like, and I will continue to promote it by publishing a post every 15 days because it is a game that has weaknesses but also many strengths, such as different reward mechanisms (seasonal quests, seasonal leaderboards, Lucky Wheel, Holding rewards, 2-3 events per year), and in the event of a future increase in Hive users, dCrops could also increase its player base.

I miei risultati nella stagione 113
Oggi ritorno a condividere i miei progressi e alcune statistiche stagionali generali su dCrops che è un Hive-based farming game a cui gioco fin dal suo rilascio avvenuto più di 4 anni fa.
Su dCrops è in corso la stagione 114, la stagione estiva, che terminerà tra 11 giorni e 20 ore.
L'estate è iniziata poco più di tre giorni fa ma io ho inziato a giocare solo oggi.
Dicembre è un mese pieno di impegni lavorativi per me e quindi è un mese in cui ho poco tempo libero da dedicare alle mia passioni tra cui ci sono Hive e gli Hive-based games.
Iniziare a giocare solo oggi mi costerà la mancata produzione di alcuni crops ma prima di condividere la mia attività di gioco di inizio stagione condivido alcune statistiche stagionali relative alla stagione precedente.
Il rapporto CROP/SHARE e il numero dei giocatori attivi (Season #113 - Primavera)
Durante ogni stagione mi piace utilizzare la funzionalità View Last Season Leaderboard per avere informazioni utili sul numero di giocatori attivi e sul rapporto CROP/SHARE relativi alla precedente stagione.
Conoscere il rapporto CROP/SHARE relativo alla precedente stagione è un informazione utile in particolare per i nuovi giocatori perchè in questo modo possono avere una stima del valore in CROP che possono ottenere utilizzando un NFT di tipo seme nel gioco.
Infatti ogni NFT di tipo seme piantato in un NFT di tipo land produce dei crops (in-game items) che possono essere venduti in cambio di punti SHARES e ogni punto SHARE guadagnato durante una stagione permette di ricevere un premio in CROP tokens (Hive Engine tokens) alla fine della stagione.
Ad esempio l'NFT Kale produce 2 Kale in 6 giorni.
1 Kale può essere venduto in cambio di 7 SHARES
Utilizzare l'NFT Kale durante la stagione autunnale permette di guadagnare in totale 14 SHARES
Se ad esempio il rapporto CROP/SHARE vale 0.4 vendere 2 Kale crops permette di guadagnare 5.6 CROP tokens.
Nella stagione 113, i giocatori hanno guadagnato 0.393 CROP per ogni punto SHARE con una diminuzione di -0.106 CROP rispetto alla stagione precedente:
- stagione 113: CROP/SHARE = 0.393 CROP
- stagione 112: CROP/SHARE = 0.499 CROP
- stagione 111: CROP/SHARE = 0.421 CROP
- stagione 110: CROP/SHARE = 0.434 CROP
- stagione 109: CROP/SHARE = 0.409 CROP
- stagione 108: CROP/SHARE = 0.438 CROP
Il guadagno in CROP per punto share è un elemento che considero importante ed è per questo motivo che in ogni mio post su dCrops condividerò e aggiornerò queste informazioni.
Purtroppo non ho fatto uno screenshot del rapporto CROP/SHARE della stagione 80 ma cercherò di non perdermi i dati delle stagioni future.

Ho verificato che questo link funziona solo per le stagioni dalla 68 in poi.
A partire dalla stagione 78 ho iniziato a tenere traccia anche del numero dei giocatori attivi stagione dopo stagione.
Nella stagione 113 i giocatori attivi sono stati 178, un giocatore attivo in meno rispetto alla stagione 112.
Dopo una breve pausa, la stagione 112, in cui il numero dei giocatori attivi è rimasto stabile, nella stagione 113 il numero dei giocatori attivi ha ripreso il trend negativo:
- stagione 113: giocatori attivi = 178
- stagione 112: giocatori attivi = 179
- stagione 111: giocatori attivi = 179
- stagione 110: giocatori attivi = 183
- stagione 109: giocatori attivi = 195
Ho iniziato a monitorare e a condividere nei miei post il numero di giocatori attivi a partire dalla stagione 84 e l'andamento generale è stato di continua diminuzione anche se in modo non lineare perchè soprattutto durante gli eventi c'è stato un aumento di giocatori attivi.
Nella stagione 86 i giocatori attivi erano 282.
Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere i giocatori attivi dalla stagione 108 alla stagione 84.
La mia attività di gioco, i miei progressi e i miei risultati nella stagione 113
L'inizio di una stagione è il momento in cui effettuo più operazioni di gioco:
- libero i miei land plots se contengono NFT di tipo seme che non hanno fatto in tempo a produrre crops prima della fine della stagione.
- faccio il claim delle ricompense stagionali
- richiedo le nuove quests stagionali
- controllo se posso completare tutte le quests stagionali
- se non posso completare alcune quest utilizzo la funzionalità reroll per avere solo quest completabili
- pianto i miei NFT di tipo seme nei mie land plots.
Io ho scelto di giocare solo nella modalità Farm ma dCrops offre più modalità di gioco tra cui scegliere o in cui giocare simultaneamente.
Nella stagione 113 ho completato le sette quests stagionali e ho ricevuto come premio 15 Reward Chest.
Nei reward chests ho trovato:
- 6 craft items (4 Pepper + 2 Salt)
- 3 boosters (3 Speed-gro)
- 4 NFT di tipo resource (1 Wood + 1 Stone + 1 Copper Ore + 1 Iron Ore)
I craft items li convertirò in punti Shares durante il primo futuro evento (nel caso ci sarà).
Gli NFT di tipo resource li metto in vendita perchè ho scelto di giocare solo nella modalità di gioco Farm in cui non hanno utilità.
I Mystery Seeds li utilizzerò nelle stagioni in cui ho meno semi da piantare
I Boosters li utilizzo quasi ogni stagione per velocizzare la crescita dei crops che richiedono più tempo e per aumentare la probabilità di ricevere crops di rarità alta che valgono più punti Shares.
Oggi 23 dicembre 2025:
1 NFT Wood vale 0.495 SWAP.HIVE

Oggi ho anche aperto 1 Reward Chest ++ che ho ricevuto grazie alla Lucky Wheel!
Ho messo in vendita tutti gli NFT di tipo resource in mio possesso al prezzo di vendita più basso presente sul mercato.
Stagione dopo stagione aumenta il valore in punti Shares del mio inventario perchè seguo una strategia orientata agli eventi:
- durante le stagioni in cui non ci sono eventi attivi vendo solo i crops per completare le quests stagionali di tipo sell
- conservo tutti gli altri crops per venderli solo durante gli eventi con l'obiettivo di ottenere i premi di maggior valore nell'Event Shop.
Negli anni precedenti dCrops ha organizzato un evento natalizio ma quest'anno non ci sarà un evento natalizio.
A comunicarlo è stata la creatrice del gioco su discord nella risposta ad un giocatore.
Nel 2025 sono tre gli eventi saltati rispetto alla programmazione degli eventi tenuta nel 2025.
Senza eventi dCrops perde molta attrattiva secondo me e a questo punto penso che rivaluterò la mia strategia e nei miei prossimi post condividerò le mie scelte e le mie strategie.
Il valore attuale del mio inventario è 49087 SHARES.
All'inizio della stagione 112 il mio inventario valeva 46182 SHARES.
Durante la stagione 113 il valore del mio inventario è aumentato di +2905 SHARES.
Nuova stagione e nuove quest stagionali da completare!

Con le nuove quest estive sono stato abbastanza fortunato perchè ho ricevuto solo 2 quests non completabili su 7.
Grazie alla funzionalità Reroll:
- ho cambiato la quest Plant 2 Sunflower seeds nella quest Harvest 3 Oregano crops.
- ho cambiato la quest Sell 3 Napa Cabbage nella quest Plant 2 Chamomile seeds.
Ho utilizzato la funzionalità Reroll due volte e ho speso 20 CROP ma ho ottenuto 7 quest completabili su 7!
L'ultima operazione di gioco che effettuo durante ogni inizio di stagione è la semina dei miei NFT di tipo seme nella sezione Farm di dCrops.
Prima di piantare i miei NFT di tipo seed ho utilizzato tutti i miei Boosters di tipo Speed-gro perchè ho iniziato la semina molto in ritardo in questa stagione.
Infatti ho 21 Watermelon seed da piantare che richiedono 12 giorni per diventare crops ma la stagione in corso terminerà tra meno di 12 giorni.
Con 5 Speed-gro ho potuto piantare 15 Watermelon che altrimenti non avrei potuto piantare.
Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere tutti i semi che ho piantato nei miei 48 NFT di tipo land che contengono un totale di 79 plots.

dCrops è un gioco che mi piace e continuerò a promuovere questo gioco tramite la pubblicazione di un post ogni 15 giorni perchè è un gioco che ha punti deboli ma ha anche molti punti di forza come i diversi meccanismi di ricompensa (Quests stagionali, Leaderboard stagionale, Lucky Wheel, Holding rewards, 2-3 eventi all'anno) e nel caso di un futuro aumento di utenti di Hive anche dCrops potrebbe aumentare la sua base di giocatori.

I agree that Dcrops not having seasonal events makes it less appealing. I think Hive Engine has been more or less stable recently so I don't see any reason why they shouldn't have one.
