My results in season 103
I like to play Hive-based games and at the same time I like to create content about the games in which I actively play.
Today I return to share my gaming activity and progress on dCrops.
dCrops is a Hive-based farming game in which time is marked by seasons that last 15 days.
Just under 1 day ago, season 102, the summer season, began, and in 14 days fall will begin.
I am an active player in various types of games, and with the recent release of the reward system on Stake House Den, I have also added casino games to my gaming activities, even though I don't like traditional casino games. However, the presence of NFTs and tokens has made me interested in Stake House Den.
In the farming games category, I have tried three games, but only one of them is still active and has a solid, albeit very small, player base: dCrops.
dCrops is a Hive-based farming game and is also the only farming game I currently play.
I started playing on dCrops more than four years ago, and at the beginning of each new season (every 15 days), I try to publish a post in which I share my gaming activity and progress and keep track of some useful information (number of active players and CROP/SHARE ratio) for myself but also for those of my readers who play on dCrops or might be interested in playing.
If you like farming games and don't play on dCrops, you should consider playing on dCrops because, in my opinion, it is one of the best blockchain-based farming games whose strength is its simplicity (especially in farming mode).
Another strength of dCrops is the presence of four reward mechanisms that incentivize players to play and/or purchase game assets.
The four reward mechanisms are:
- Seasonal quests
- Seasonal leaderboard
- Holding rewards
- Lucky Wheel
The CROP/SHARE ratio and the number of active players.
During each season I like to use the View Last Season Leaderboard feature to get useful information about the number of active players and CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season.
Knowing the CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season is useful information especially for new players because this way they can have an estimate of the value in CROP they can get by using a seed-type NFT.
In fact, each seed-type NFT planted in a land-type NFT produces crops that can be sold in exchange for SHARES points, and each SHARE point earned during a season allows players to receive a prize in CROP tokens at the end of the season.
In the previous season, season 103, players earned 0.395 CROP for each SHARE point (in season 102: CROP/SHARE = 0.418 CROP).
The gain in CROP per share point is something I consider important and like to monitor, which is why I share this information in each of my posts on dCrops.
Unfortunately, I did not take a screenshot of the CROP/SHARE ratio of season 80 but I will try not to miss the data of future seasons.

I verified that this link only works for seasons 68 and up.
Starting from season 78 I also began to keep track of the number of active players season after season.
In season 103 the active players were 207 = 1 active players compared to season 102.
This decrease in active players could be the explanation behind the increase in CROP/SHARE ratio recorded in season 101.

In season 103, I completed all the seasonal quests, even though I had to use the Reroll feature to change some of them.
In fact, there is a single seasonal reward linked to the seasonal quests that can only be obtained by completing all 7 seasonal quests before the end of the season.
I received 15 Reward Chests.
Inside the 15 Reward Chests, I found the items you can see in the next image.
I wasn't lucky because I only found one resource-type NFT (1 Wood) that has a relatively low estimated market value.
But the positive aspect is that I increased the value in Shares points of my inventory.
In fact, my inventory is worth 26,463, while at the end of last season it was worth 24,295 Shares, which means that during season 103 I produced and harvested crops worth +2,168 Shares points.
With 2168 Shares, I could receive 856.36 CROP as a reward in the seasonal leaderboard, but I follow an event-oriented strategy and will only sell my crops when the next event starts.
In the next image, you can see the 7 new seasonal quests that I have to complete during season 104, which is the current season.
I received two quests that I couldn't complete because I only have 1 White Rose seed and because I don't have any King Weed seeds.
I used the reroll feature twice and spent a total of 20 CROP tokens
Now I have 7 quests that I can complete without any problems!
The last game operation I perform at the start of each season is planting my seed-type NFTs.
In the next image, you can see all the seeds I planted today in my 48 land-type NFTs, which contain a total of 79 plots.
I still have seeds to plant, but I'll do that when some of my land plots are free.

Mi piace giocare agli Hive-based games e allo stesso tempo mi piace creare contenuti sui giochi nei quali sono un giocatore attivo e oggi ritorno a condividere la mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi su dCrops.
Sono un giocatore attivo su diverse tipologie di giochi e con il recente rilascio del sistema di ricompense su Stake House Den ho aggiunto anche i giochi da casinò alla mia attività di gioco anche se i giochi di casinò tradizionali non mi piacciono ma la presenza di NFT e tokens mi hanno spinto a interessarmi a Stake House Den.
Nella categoria dei farming games ho provato tre giochi ma di questi solo uno è ancora attivo e ha una base di giocatori solida anche se molto piccola: dCrops.
dCrops è un Hive-based farming game ed è anche l'unico farming game a cui gioco attualmente.
Gioco su dCrops da più di quattro anni e contestualmente all'inizio di una nuova stagione (ogni 15 giorni) cerco di pubblicare un post in cui condivido la mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi e in cui tengo traccia di alcune informazioni utili (numero di giocatori attivi e rapporto CROP/SHARE) per me ma anche per chi tra i miei lettori gioca su dCrops o potrebbe essere interessato a giocare.
Se ti piacciono i farming games e non giochi su dCrops dovresti prendere in considerazione di giocare su dCrops perchè secondo me è uno dei migliori farming game basati su blockchain che fa della sua semplicità (soprattutto nella modalità di gioco farming) il suo punto di forza.
Un altro punto di forza di dCrops è la presenza di quattro meccanismi di ricompensa che incentivano i giocatori a giocare e/o ad acquistare gli assets del gioco.
I quattro meccanismi di ricompensa sono:
- Quests stagionali
- Leaderboard stagionale
- Holding rewards
- Lucky Wheel
Il rapporto CROP/SHARE e il numero dei giocatori attivi
Durante ogni stagione mi piace utilizzare la funzionalità View Last Season Leaderboard per avere informazioni utili sul numero di giocatori attivi e sul rapporto CROP/SHARE relativi alla precedente stagione.
Conoscere il rapporto CROP/SHARE relativo alla precedente stagione è un informazione utile soprattutto per i nuovi giocatori perchè in questo modo possono avere una stima del valore in CROP che possono ottenere utilizzando un NFT di tipo seme.
Infatti ogni NFT di tipo seme piantato in un NFT di tipo land produce dei crops (in-game items) che possono essere venduti in cambio di punti SHARES e ogni punto SHARE guadagnato durante una stagione permette di ricevere un premio in CROP tokens (Hive Engine tokens) alla fine della stagione.
Nella stagione precedente, la stagione 103, i giocatori hanno guadagnato 0.395 CROP per ogni punto SHARE (nella stagione 102: CROP/SHARE = 0.418 CROP).
Il guadagno in CROP per punto share è un elemento che considero importante ed è un elemento che mi piace monitorare e per questo motivo in ogni mio post su dCrops condivido queste informazioni.
Purtroppo non ho fatto uno screenshot del rapporto CROP/SHARE della stagione 80 ma cercherò di non perdermi i dati delle stagioni future.

Ho verificato che questo link funziona solo per le stagioni dalla 68 in poi.
A partire dalla stagione 78 ho iniziato a tenere traccia anche del numero dei giocatori attivi stagione dopo stagione.
Nella stagione 103 i giocatori attivi sono stati 207 = +1 giocatori attivi rispetto alla stagione 102.
La mia attività di gioco, i miei progressi e i miei risultati nella stagione 103
Nella stagione 103 ho completato tutte le quests stagionali anche se ho dovuto utilizzare la funzionalità Reroll per cambiare alcune quest.
Infatti c'è un unica ricompensa stagionale collegata alle quests stagionali che è ottenibile solo completando tutte le 7 quests stagionali prima della fine della stagione.
Ho ricevuto 15 Reward Chests.
All'interno delle 15 Reward Chests ho trovato gli items che puoi vedere nella prossima immagine.
Non sono stato fortunato perchè ho trovato un solo NFT di tipo resource (1 Wood) che ha un valore stimato di mercato relativamente basso.
Ma l'aspetto positivo è che ho aumentato il valore in punti Shares del mio inventario.
Infatti il mio inventario vale 26463 mentre alla fine della stagione scorsa valeva 24295 Shares e questo vuol dire che durante la stagione 103 ho prodotto e raccolto crops per un valore in punti shares = +2168 Shares.
Con 2168 Shares potevo ricevere 856.36 CROP come premio nella leaderboard stagionale ma seguo una strategia orientata agli eventi e venderò i miei crops solo quando inizierà il prossimo evento.
Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere le 7 nuove quests stagionali che devo completare durante la stagione 104 che è la stagione attualmente in corso.
Ho ricevuto due quest che non potevo completare perchè ho solo 1 White Rose seed e perchè non ho King Weed seeds.
Ho utilizzato la funzionalità reroll due volte e ho speso in totale 20 CROP token
Adesso ho 7 quest che posso completare senza problemi!
L'ultima operazione di gioco che effettuo durante ogni inizio di stagione è la semina dei miei NFT di tipo seme.
Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere tutti i semi che ho piantato oggi nei miei 48 NFT di tipo land che contengono un totale di 79 plots.
Ho ancora dei semi da piantare ma lo farò quando alcuni dei miei land plots saranno liberi.

I am one of the new players! :) So far it is really fun, but I only own one rare land and some seeds. I think I will buy some more in the future, as soon as I got more into the game.

Nice job! That's one game I never invested in too heavily and now just plant what I own to make a few CROP. But you are doing great on the leaderboards! One thing I have to say about it though, it's easy and very passive!
