CONEXIÓN | Siete días de creación: El aprendizaje luego de mi participación en la iniciativa #HiveAroundTheWorld [ENG/SPA]

¡Saludos a todos! La semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de participar en el reto organizado y patrocinado por #LIKETU, cuyo objetivo fue el de dar a conocer contenido en #HIVE alrededor del mundo, a través de los creadores de contenido que se sumaron a este llamado. Durante siete días, se publicaron contenidos relacionados con una temática específica, lo que me permitió explorar y compartir diferentes aspectos de mi vida y cultura.

Desde el inicio, la emoción me invadió, ya que no había participado en ningún reto. Hacía tiempo que no realizaba publicaciones desde mi perfil, y aunque tengo esta cuenta desde hace años, la verdad es que me había distanciado de la interacción en HIVE. Sin embargo, al partir de la iniciativa #HiveAroundTheWorld, me animé a participar para conectar con hivers y tener la experiencia de concursar en un desafío.

La primera sensación que experimenté fue la de pertenecer a un grupo, socializar. Al ser parte de un grupo de creadores, comprendí que todos compartimos el mismo objetivo: comunicar y expresarnos. Me di cuenta de que, como creadora de contenido, es fundamental establecer una comunicación efectiva al momento de crear. Especialmente si el contenido es diario, no sólo es importante saber qué se va a decir, sino también buscar los elementos necesarios como fotos y estar atenta a las referencias que sirven como fuentes. Además, hay que considerar el modelo de maquetado que se utilizará y los comandos necesarios para la publicación. Todo esto requiere aún más atención cuando se adiciona la transcripción en un idioma que no es el materno, por más que se utilicen aplicaciones especiales para ello.

Asimismo, uno de los momentos más gratificantes para mí, fue leer las publicaciones de otros participantes. Descubrí diferentes perspectivas y enfoques sobre temas que me resultaban familiares, pero que nunca había explorado en profundidad. La interacción fue enriquecedora; sobre todo que varios participantes respondieron a mis comentarios, lo que me pareció fascinante para poder conectar con otras personas a través de esta iniciativa.

A lo largo del reto, me di cuenta que los temas propuestos para desarrollar, de alguna manera me conectaron profundamente con mi cultura falconiana. En el día a día, a veces pasamos desapercibidos ciertos aspectos culturales que forman parte de nuestra identidad. Reflexionar sobre los elementos de mi vida cotidiana que me conectan con mi cultura caquetía hizo darme cuenta de los muchos detalles que, aunque son sencillos, son fundamentales para entender quién soy.

Debo confesar que hubo varios momentos en los que me sentí fuera de mi zona de confort; no estaba muy segura de cómo compartir ciertas ideas o transmitir ciertos mensajes. A pesar de ello, en las publicaciones expresé lo que pensaba y sentía respecto a cada tema. Aprendí que escribir bajo mi experiencia es una fortaleza en la creación de contenido para HIVE.

Siento que otro aspecto muy revelador fue la necesidad de identificar un hobby (pasatiempo); de hecho, en el reto lo sustituí por el comodín (otorgado por los patrocinadores de #HiveAroundTheWorld) de escribir acerca del sitio o paisaje que más me inspira. La verdadera razón de usar ese comodín fue que, en estos momentos, siento que no tengo un hobby como tal; me he enfocado en otras cosas que considero parte de mi rutina y trabajo, pero no como un pasatiempo que me haga sentir especial. Sin embargo, no quiero decir que no haya tenido hobbies anteriormente. De hecho, mi pasatiempo favorito ha sido siempre la lectura, así como dedicar tiempo a la reflexión y al compartir.

Siendo honesta, he relegado mucho del leer como pasatiempo, para centrarme en otras actividades. Con este reto, he querido reconectarme nuevamente con ese tiempo de lectura y también explorar nuevos intereses. Me ha llamado la atención aprender a tocar la guitarra, así como aprender un nuevo idioma o confeccionar cierto tipo de ropa. Así que, lo que estoy iniciando como un pasatiempo, podría considerarse algo más significativo con el tiempo.

En líneas generales, puedo decir que disfruté mucho esta experiencia y confío que no será la única en la que participe. Me gustó la iniciativa y pretendo conocer más acerca de todo lo que ofrece en la actualidad el ecosistema de HIVE. Al mismo tiempo, quiero darme a conocer ante ustedes y aportar mi granito de arena en la construcción del uso de esta web3.

Esta semana no sólo me ayudó a reconectar con mi voz creativa; sino que también me enseñó sobre la importancia de la comunidad y la autoexpresión. Estoy agradecida por cada interacción y cada aprendizaje. Espero verlos en futuros retos y publicaciones, donde podamos seguir creciendo juntos.

Last week I had the opportunity to participate in the challenge organized and sponsored by #Liketu, whose objective was to raise awareness of content on HIVE around the world, through content creators who joined this call. For seven days, content related to a specific theme was published, which allowed me to explore and share different aspects of my life and culture.

From the beginning, I was excited, as I had not participated in any challenge. It had been a while since I had posted from my profile, and although I have had this account for years, the truth is that I had distanced myself from the interaction in HIVE. However, when I started the #HiveAroundTheWorld initiative, I decided to participate in order to connect with hivers and have the experience of participating in a challenge.

The first sensation I experienced was that of belonging to a group, of socializing. Being part of a group of creators, I understood that we all share the same goal: to communicate and express ourselves. I realized that, as a content creator, it is essential to establish effective communication when creating. Especially if the content is daily, it is not only important to know what to say, but also to look for the necessary elements such as photos and be attentive to the references that serve as sources. In addition, it is necessary to consider the layout model to be used and the necessary commands for publication. All this requires even more attention when the transcription is added in a language that is not the mother tongue, even if special applications are used for this purpose.

Also, one of the most rewarding moments for me was reading the publications of other participants. I discovered different perspectives and approaches to topics that were familiar to me, but that I had never explored in depth. The interaction was enriching; especially that several participants responded to my comments, which I found fascinating to be able to connect with other people through this initiative.

Throughout the challenge, I realized that the themes proposed to develop, somehow connected me deeply with my Falconian culture. In our daily lives, we sometimes overlook certain cultural aspects that are part of our identity. Reflecting on the elements of my daily life that connect me to my Falconian culture made me realize the many details that, although simple, are fundamental to understanding who I am.

I must confess that there were several moments when I felt out of my comfort zone; I was not quite sure how to share certain ideas or convey certain messages. Nevertheless, in the publications I expressed what I thought and felt about each topic. I learned that writing from my experience is a strength in creating content for HIVE.

I feel that another very telling aspect was the need to identify a hobby (pastime); in fact, in the challenge I replaced it with the wildcard (given by the sponsors of #HiveAroundTheWorld) of writing about the site or landscape that most inspires me. The real reason for using that wildcard was that, right now, I feel like I don't have a hobby as such; I've focused on other things that I consider part of my routine and work, but not as a hobby that makes me feel special. However, I don't want to say that I haven't had hobbies before. In fact, my favorite hobby has always been reading, as well as spending time reflecting and sharing.

To be honest, I have relegated a lot of reading as a hobby, to focus on other activities. With this challenge, I wanted to reconnect with that reading time and also explore new interests. Learning to play the guitar has caught my attention, as well as learning a new language or making certain types of clothing. So, what I am starting as a hobby, could be considered something more meaningful over time.

Overall, I can say that I really enjoyed this experience and I am confident that it will not be the only one in which I will participate. I liked the initiative and I intend to learn more about everything that the HIVE ecosystem currently offers. At the same time, I want to make myself known to you and do my bit in building the use of this web3.

This week not only helped me reconnect with my creative voice; it also taught me about the importance of community and self-expression. I am grateful for every interaction and every learning. I look forward to seeing you in future challenges and publications, where we can continue to grow together.
