Hi everyone, I'm new to Hive and I love having the opportunity to share my coffee times with you.
Sometimes life challenges us with sacrifices we need to embrace in order to get where we want. Coffee, for me, is not just about caffeine—it’s a ritual of comfort, inspiration and stress relieving. I am a student in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. I've just started a new semester at the university. But before that, I had a short break which I used for working full time. As a coffee lover, my daily cup was a companion every day. Still, nothing compares to sitting at a cozy café, enjoying the aroma of a cappuccino paired with a warm croissant, while letting myself slow down for a moment. So I finally managed to take some time and get one of those treats.

This is the terrace of one of my favorite places in the city. Its name is Oficina do Sorvete. It's mainly an ice cream parlor, but it has a great variety of coffee recipes. This time I had their chocolate based capuccino, with cream on top and some "brigadeiro" mixture (which is a traditional Brazilian dessert made with chocolate, condensed milk and cream or butter) on the edge of the cup.

Today, I got back to business and drank my morning cup of strong black coffee to stay alive in the classroom.
