RE: So much for having the surgery scheduled

I would contact their Patient Relations office:

Perhaps a Patient Advocate can help resolve the issue.
The best of luck in this. You've certainly had your share of pain and frustration. 😞

Thanks. I would except last time I did that (another hospital. The surgeon ghosted me after surgery literally disappeared for two weeks. No one in the office would tell me why. I was not told beforehand he was going on vacation the day of my surgery immediately after. I had no way or reaching him when there was a serious life threatening complication) the care got worse. The doctor's office retaliated when I went to a patient advocate to try to find my doctor/anyone else who could help. I won't get into how I was punished as a patient for it- literal torture and gaslighting.Hospital advocates are like HR they work for the hospital to prevent lawsuits not the patient .There are no protections for patients. Also no way in hell I am getting surgery there so no point even if the advocates actually advocated for patients and patients were protected against retaliation. Doctors have all the power. Patients have none.. There are no actual recourses for patients beyond lawsuits. !BBH !PIZZA
