Good evening, my dear friends at @topfivefamily. Here I am again with my new entry for your TBT Contest: A Photo, A Story, One of Those Days. I hope you enjoy it; it's a piece about a fond memory of mine.

Muy buenas noches, mis queridos amigos de @topfivefamily. Aquí estoy de nuevo ante ustedes con mi nueva entrada para su Concurso TBT una foto una historia un día de esos. Espero que sea de su agrado, es un escrito sobre un recuerdo lindo para mí.

The memory I chose for today, I took a few years ago. My girls were little, and you have no idea how much I miss seeing them so small. We took the picture right after picking them up from school. They'd had a busy day, but nothing helps them relax like being with their mom.
El recuerdo que elegí para hoy la tomé hace unos cuantos años. Mis niñas estaban pequeñas y no saben cuánto extraño verlas así de chiquitas. La foto nos la tomamos justo después de buscarla en la escuela. Habían tenido un día agitado, pero nada como estar al lado de su mamá para que se empezaran a relajar.
I saw they were a little down, so that day I did something special for them. Instead of going straight home, I took them to an ice cream shop to pamper them for a while. My way of expressing my love for them is by spending quality time with them, taking advantage of every moment to spoil them by buying them something they like or have wanted for a while.
Las vi algo desanimadas, así que ese día les hice algo especial, en vez de irnos directamente a la casa, me las llevé a una heladería para consentirlas un ratito. Mi forma de expresarles mi amor es compartiendo tiempo de calidad con ellas. Aprovechando cada momento para “malcriarlas” comprándoles algo que les guste o que querían desde hace algún tiempo.
And as you know, I love taking pictures of us whenever I have the chance. And today's photo was one of those moments. One where I felt happy to have them by my side, to see how beautiful and healthy they were growing, and to reflect on everything we had accomplished together.
Y como ya saben, me encanta tomarnos fotos cada vez que tengo la oportunidad. Y la foto de hoy fue uno de esos momentos. Uno en el que me sentí feliz de tenerlas a mi lado, de ver lo hermosas y saludables que estaban creciendo y de todo lo que habíamos logrado juntas.
That's why I never miss Throwback Thursdays, because remembering is living, and every moment I share with you is a window to the past that reflects happiness, unconditional love, tenderness, and so many emotions all at once.
Por eso no me pierdo los jueves de TBT porque recordar es vivir y cada momento que les comparto es una ventana al pasado que refleja felicidad, amor incondicional, ternura y tantas emociones juntas.
As the years go by, and as long as God allows me, I will continue taking pictures of them at every opportunity so that they, too, can one day travel through time as I do every time I look at our memories together. That way, they will know that Mom loved them with all her heart, and that this is the most precious thing I will leave them.
Así pasen los años y mientras Dios me lo permita, voy a seguirles tomando fotos en todo momento para que ellas también algún día viajen en el tiempo como yo lo hago cada vez que miro nuestros recuerdos juntas. Así sabrán que mamá las amó con todo su corazón y que eso es lo más valioso que les dejaré.
