By next week, we will be entering the fifth month in the life of the MemeHive Curation Contest. This time, it is the 17th week. Time flies!

18 hours ago, @pepetoken commented in my post that the PEPE rewards were already distributed to last week's winners. Again, congratulations!

As published in the winner announcement, our sponsors have already distributed 286,000 MEME, 1M PEPE, and 268,000 PAY.

As for our accounts dedicated to curating meme content, I am adding another column that indicates our accounts curation reward and curation staked reward. I actually want to know our account's vote value, but I have difficulty identifying them. What is clear in Hive Engine Explorer is the amount of curation reward and curation staked reward.

Furthermore, starting this week, I also want to include this account in PEPE staking. The chart below shows our progress for one week.

My MEME power increased by 14,939, lower than last week; just a 3.45% increase compared to 3.75% last week. In the case of PEPE, it's also lower; it's 56.58% compared to 76.78% last week. @pepetoken's delegation increased from 1,264,626 to 1,084,000. As for PAY, I added 24 this week.

In terms of curation reward and curation stake reward, I still have difficulty understanding the fluctuation in value. Anyhow, these two accounts are committed to curating meme posts published on PeakD's MemeHive community as well as those who qualify for the weekly contest.

I already have over 700K Pay tokens and working myself up to 1 million little by little.

Do you think it is time that I should increase MemeHive rewards for the community? MemeHive rewards have decreased significantly and I have no idea why lol. 1.4K Meme upvote rewards are now down to 1.2K and under per upvote depending on Mana.

Well, more is better, and I think meme creators will be happier. However, I am thinking of the long-term sustainability of the contest. Nevertheless, if you think you can afford it, why not?

This will be my suggestion:

  • 1st place—from 5k to 8k

  • 2nd place—from 2.5k to 4k

  • 3rd place—from 1.5k to 2k

  • 2 consolation prizes—from 1k to 1.5k

To implement this change, we need 17k MEME rewards per week.
