I agree, it's a gimmick but when the only version available is colorized then I wouldn't have much a choice. A cheaper BU would do me rather than paying more of an unnecessary minting stage.

Very true. In my case here, I should've skipped on it and just bought a traditional Libertad. The triangular shape is cool, but not necessary.

IF you seen my last two posts, I like the Scottsdale Halloween bars but I could be just as happy with a BU version than pay extra for the colored bars. Not such version. WYSIWYG. There wasn't that big a price difference between the headline bars, mintage 499, and the kid friendly bars, mintage unlimited. 🎃
