This is a fair description of the game and how it works so far. I have been letting people play it while I'm building it, so there are rough edges. The graphics are not great and the game's FAQ page needs more content for sure. I'm glad @tydynrain stepped up to answer your questions here in the comments!

I'll add a little more.

On leveling up cards

You have 2 Rare Magic cards (the blue ones). In the "Game Menu" there is a line that says

View / Level Up or Sell Your Frog CARDS

If you click "View / Level Up" then in the next screen you can click "Select" on a card that matches in Type (Melee/red, Range/green or Magic/blue) and Rarity (Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary) and Level (1 through 8) and Foil (white background or gold background) with one or more other cards.

In your case, you can Select one of those Magic Rare Level 1 No Foil (white background) cards and then the system will just show the matching ones, and in your case that is one card.

Once you Select the second card, click "Level Up" below the 2 cards you have Selected.

Now you will Pick the Stat that you want to Level Up (Health, Armor, Speed, or Attack). Magic cards are usually second or third in the 3 card battle line up, and are used to attack from afar so maybe Level Up its Attack stat.

Once you pick the stat, the system shows you your new card!

Then you can level up other cards or go back to the Game Menu.

GEMs

GEMs add to the stat that is the same type as the GEM. So a Health GEM adds to the Health stat of the card you add it to, for example. The used to be reusable but they just changed to consumable. You can get Common Gems in your battle rewards if you Win the battle.

The chance of getting a GEM in rewards was 5% but now it is 50% so you should be seeing them about half the time you win a battle.

You can also Buy or Sell GEMS in the GEM Market which you get to from the GEMS link in this line in the Game Menu:

GEMs really help in the higher levels of each Adventure (there are 6 levels per Adventure) where the opponent cards are quite powerful. Don't use GEMs unless you really need them, and stock up on them for those higher harder levels so you can progress in the game.

VOLT Power

This earns interest and also earns you a weekly airdrop of GOV tokens. The interest has been the same since the game started but it could change based on the HBD in the @pepegamex account which is used to fund the interest to some degree.

GOV Tokens

These will be used for Governance. @pepegamedao will be a group of 3 players (possibly 5 in the future) who will be able to create items to vote for. There will be a few choices to choose from, similar to a multiple choice poll. Players vote with a vote strength based on their GOV holdings. The strength will be based on the square root of their GOV balance so that the larger GOV holders won't have the level of control over the lower balance holders that they would if the strength was linear.

For example, if one player has 1 GOV and another has 4 GOV, the one with 4 GOV does not have 4 times the vote, but 2 (square root of 4 is 2).

There IS NOW a GOV Market! Click Tokens in the top menu, then click the blue Market button under your GOV balance.
