Hive Secret: How to see any post mark-down code
Many years ago, hive users would need to write mark-down code (similar to html) when creating a post. Do you remember?
I still catch myself writing code in-text instead of clicking in the boxes above!
Now it is very easy to do a variety of actions in order to make your post looking better. You can easily use tables, add links, photographs or even videos or gifs in just a few clicks.
Still, maybe sometimes you may see something in a post that you do not know how the user did it.
For instance I saw some posts where you can click at a point to see a language translation
What do you do when you want to 'copy' a style but do not know how to do it?
I have here one solution for you!
(If you have more, please share in the comments section)
What you do is
Use any browser and take the link of the post.
In this example, I will use hive
Here is my recent post:
https://hive.blog/hivepets/@katerinaramm/pepper-goes-to-vet
What you will need to do is, to erase the hive.blog part and insert hiveblocks.com instead!
And do it like this:
https://hiveblocks.com//hivepets/@katerinaramm/pepper-goes-to-vet
You will be able to see not only the code for the main text, but also for the comments!
Thoughts?
Have you ever seen a post looking so nice that really made you wonder what the author has done to make it so appealing?
Let me know if you have more ~secrets~ tips to share :)

"You explained it really well, thank you! Could you also share how to view the markdown code on mobile?"
Hello! You will again need to copy the link from any app you are using and open it changing the first part to “hiveblocks.com” using a mobile browser (brave, chrome, safari or whatever)
Let me know if you need any help!
Nice one indeed.
Not a secret, but still useful are the snippets in peakd, you can save some repeating text and not have to write it again and again, I use it e.g. for the markdowns of superscript text or text in red
I never knew about this, I should test it.
Thank you!!!
Unfortunately, red is not supported in all frontends, at least that was the case when I used it a long time ago.
Congratulations @katerinaramm! You have completed the following achievement on the Hive blockchain And have been rewarded with New badge(s)

I have also been working on this platform for a long time. You have mentioned this special thing, so I will also try to try it because if our writing is beautiful here, then more people will read our posts.
Yes, I've been looking at posts like that since our Steemit days, although I do write using code too.
In fact, I have a template that I use for all my long posts. I just paste it onto my editor and copy-paste whatever I need.
I have a computer science background, and that's why I automatically "look under the hood" too see how things are made. 😉
